[The proliferative activity of tumor cells and the distribution of SOX2+ pluripotent stem cells in various histological types of ameloblastoma].

Aim: to investigate the proliferative activity and distribution of pluripotent stem cells in various histological types of amelobrastoma.

Material And Methods: The surgical and archival materials of 76 patients with ameloblastoma from the Central Research Institute of Dentistry and Oral Surgery, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, were used. Tissue antigens were determined using a rabbit monoclonal antibody against to Ki-67 and SOX2.

Relationship between the Pathogenic Representatives of Periodontal Pockets Microbiocenosis in Patients with Periodontitis with Varying Degrees of Severity.

Periodontitis is a common disease that is considered to be a manifestation of the distortion of the ratio between the normal and conditionally pathogenic microflora of periodontal pockets. In this study, the ratio between the six most important periodontal pathogens and the total microflora of the periodontal pocket in healthy individuals and patients with varying severity of periodontitis was ascertained by quantitative real-time PCR. It was ascertained that the relative content ofPorphyromonas gingivalis,Prevotella intermedia, andTannerella forsythensis(Bacteroides forsythus) persistently develops in the total microflora of the periodontal pocket upon progressing periodontitis; this value is higher than that in the control group by more than two orders of magnitude upon a severe degree of chronic generalized periodontitis.

Clinical study of the efficiency of combined cell transplant on the basis of multipotent mesenchymal stromal adipose tissue cells in patients with pronounced deficit of the maxillary and mandibulary bone tissue.

The use of synthetic osteoplastic materials not always provides the required amount of the bone tissue. Transplantation of tissue-engineering constructs containing osteogenic precursor cells can be an alternative high-technology implantation method. Here we present the results of a pilot clinical study demonstrating safety of this method, accelerated healing of the operation wound, formation of young bone tissue after transplantation, and the possibility of mounting implants after 3 months in case of sufficient amount of the bone for primary fixation.
