With the rapid development of hydrogen pipelines, their safety issues have become increasingly prominent. In order to evaluate the properties of pipeline materials under a high-pressure hydrogen environment, this study investigates the hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity of X70 welded pipe in a 10 MPa high-pressure hydrogen environment, using slow strain rate testing (SSRT) and low-cycle fatigue (LCF) analysis. The microstructure, slow tensile and fatigue fracture morphology of base metal (BM) and weld metal (WM) were characterized and analyzed by means of ultra-depth microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM), electron backscattering diffraction (EBSD), and transmission electron microscope (TEM).

Unlabelled: Ecological processes greatly shape microbial community assembly, but the driving factors remain unclear. Here, we compiled a metagenomic data set of microbial communities from global acid mine drainage (AMD) and explored the ecological features of microbial community linked to stochastic and deterministic processes from the perspective of species niche position, interaction patterns, gene functions, and viral infection. Our results showed that dispersal limitation (DL) (48.

Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries are widely used due to their affordability, minimal environmental impact, structural stability, and exceptional safety features. However, as these batteries reach the end of their lifespan, the accumulation of waste LFP batteries poses environmental hazards. Recycling these batteries is crucial for mitigating pollution risks and enabling secondary resource utilization.

The susceptibility of bulk and exfoliated nanolayered arsenic to oxidation has been a significant obstacle limiting their widespread application and safe disposal. Here we report a controllable antimony-doped (Sb-doped) method via chemical vapor transport (CVT) with SnI as a transport agent to prepare the bulk arsenic. After 96 h of exposure to air, the oxygen content on the surface of Sb-doped arsenic with SnI is 67% lower compared to the undoped arsenic with SnI, and 89% lower than the control group (undoped arsenic without SnI).

Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) with high power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) can be produced using a variety of methods, such as different fabrication methods, device layout modification, and component and interface engineering. The efficiency of a perovskite solar cell is largely dependent on the overall quality of the perovskite thin-film in every scenario. The utilization of spin-coating followed by the antisolvent pouring (ASP) method is prevalent in nearly all fabrication techniques to achieve superior perovskite thin-films.

In recent years, there has been notable advancement in the development of high-performance materials for sodium-ion batteries, particularly in layered oxide cathodes. However, research on enhancing the interface between electrolytes and cathodes remains nascent. One promising approach involves the addition of electrolyte additives, recognized for their cost-effectiveness and efficiency in bolstering the electrode/electrolyte interface to enhance material stability during high-voltage cycling.

Although metallic implants provide most of the required properties for bone-related applications, especially orthopedic implants, insufficient osseointegration, which may lead to loosening of the implant or prolonged healing time, is still an issue to be resolved. Osseointegration can be improved via application of various surface treatments on the metal surface. The current study focuses on a novel surface microdeformation method, which enables the formation of controlled surface patterns of various parameters.

In this paper, Fe-3%Si ultra-thin ribbons prepared by the planar flow casting (PFC) technique were subjected to temper rolling and annealing treatments. The microstructure and texture evolution during this process were examined through experimental measurements coupled with crystal plasticity finite element (CPFE) simulation to assess the feasibility of preparing ultra-thin non-oriented silicon steel using PFC ribbons. The results indicate that the PFC ribbons exhibit a significant columnar crystal structure, and {001}-oriented grains comprise over 30%.
