The work demonstrates the effective utilization of hybrid Polyurethane - palladium doped zirconium oxide (Pd-ZrO) as innovative carriers for corrosion protection coatings on steel materials. ZrO and Pd-ZrO nanoparticles were successfully synthesized using Photodeposition followed by the hydrothermal synthesis method. The synthesized nanoparticles were then incorporated into the polyurethane matrix and characterized using Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).

A new fluorescent sensor 2-(2-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)hydrazono)-5,5-dimethyl cyclohexane-1,3-dione (A) and 2-(2-(4-chloro-2-nitrophenyl)hydrazono)-5,5-dimethyl cyclohexane-1,3-dione (B) composed of a β-diketones of aryl hydrazones synthesized by simple and cost-effective method. Various analytical tools analyzed the structural investigations of the synthesized substituted β-diketones of aryl hydrazones like FT-IR, H, C NMR and UV-Vis techniques, Single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies (SCXRD) (for A), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and fluorescence spectroscopy. SEM also investigates surface morphology modifications of aryl hydrazones and Ni complex.

Electrochemical energy storage devices (EESs) play a crucial role for the construction of sustainable energy storage system from the point of generation to the end user due to the intermittent nature of renewable sources. Additionally, to meet the demand for next-generation electronic applications, optimizing the energy and power densities of EESs with long cycle life is the crucial factor. Great efforts have been devoted towards the search for new materials, to augment the overall performance of the EESs.

The latest trends in technologies has shifted the focus to developing innovative methods for comprehensive property enhancement of the polymer composites with facile and undemanding experimental techniques. This work reports an elementary technique to fabricate high-performance unsaturated polyester-based nanocomposites. It focuses on the interactive effect of polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS)-functionalized graphene oxide (GO) within the unsaturated polymermatrix.

Silver (Ag) ornamented TiO semiconducting nanoparticles were synthesized through the sol-gel process to be utilized as nanofillers with photo resin to enhance the mechanical and thermal properties of stereolithography 3D printed objects. The as-prepared Ag-TiO nanoparticles (Ag-TNP) were typified and qualified by XRD, XPS, Raman, and FESEM; TEM analysis dissected the morphologies. The enhancement in the tensile and flexural strengths of SLR/Ag-TNP nanocomposites was noted as 60.

The recycling of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) recovered from the plastic insulations in wires and cables is a rising concern in the current situation due to its hazardous behaviour during recycling. Similarly, high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) used in the structural components of electrical and electronic equipment are also generated in large quantities. In the current work, three agendas were fixed: (a) to determine the effect of recycled polymeric material (HIPS and ABS) recovered from different sources on the mechanical property of the polymeric blends; (b) to formulate a high-impact strength blend; and (c) to deduce a mechanism for improved impact strength.

Fabrication of low-cost, durable and efficient metal oxide nanocomposites were successfully synthesized and reinforced with photo-resin via 3-dimensional printing. Here, we put forward a novel approach to enhance the mechanical and thermal behaviors of stereolithography (SLA) 3D printed architecture by adding TiO nanoparticles (TNPs) in different crystalline phases (anatase and rutile), which were obtained at different annealing temperatures from 400 °C to 1000°C. The heat-treated anatase TNPs were scrutinized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Raman spectroscopy, diffusive reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis.

Epoxy-polydimethylsiloxane-graphene oxide (EPG) nanocomposite coatings were successfully developed by loading different wt% of graphene oxide nanosheets (GNs) into an epoxy-hydroxy-terminated-polydimethylsiloxane (EP-hPD) matrix via a facile in situ preparation technique. The inclusion of GNs into EPN led to an increase in modulus of elasticity and tensile strength up to 1570.46 MPa and 31.

Ferromagnetic ordering in a topological insulator can break time-reversal symmetry, realizing dissipationless electronic states in the absence of a magnetic field. The control of the magnetic state is of great importance for future device applications. We provide a detailed systematic study of the magnetic state in highly doped CrSbTe thin films using electrical transport, magneto-optic Kerr effect measurements and terahertz time domain spectroscopy, and also report an efficient electric gating of ferromagnetic order using the electrolyte ionic liquid [DEME][TFSI].

Currently, diabetes mellitus (DM) accelerated diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) remains vivacious health problem related with delayed healing and high amputation rates which leads to enormous clinical obligation. Keeping in view of the foregoing, researchers have been made in their efforts to develop novel materials which accelerate delayed wound healing in the diabetic patient and reduce the adversative influences of DFUs. The most prominent materials used for the wound healing application have biocompatibility, low cytotoxicity, excellent biodegradable properties, and antimicrobial activity properties.

The current investigation deals with the recycling possibilities of poly(vinyl chloride) and poly(methyl methacrylate) in the presence of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber. Recycled blends of poly(vinyl chloride)/poly(methyl methacrylate) are successfully formed from the plastic constituents, those are recovered from waste computer products. However, lower impact performance of the blend and lower stability of the poly(vinyl chloride) phase in the recycled blend restricts its further usage in industrial purposes.

Recently, biopolymer based plastic materials are regarded as potential alternative for conventional plastics of fossil fuel origin in order to compensate depleting petroleum resources and address environmental pollution issues. Poly(lactic acid) (PLA) is one among the biopolymers which is rapidly commercialized for food packaging application. However, the demerits accompanied with PLA like brittle nature, slower crystallization rate, poor gas barrier and high ultraviolet radiation transmission properties confines its commercial application in food packaging sector.
