To analyze of the clinical, imaging, and pathological features of pulmonary light chain deposition disease(PLCDD) secondary to Sjögren's syndrome(SS), and to improve the understanding of the disease. We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 23 PLCDD cases diagnosed by pathology in Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College from 2009 to 2023, a total of 11 cases of PLCDD secondary to SS(SS-PLCDD) were selected, the median age was 51 years old(range:36~74),10 female and 1 male, the clinical, imaging, and pathological features were summarized. All 11 cases showed bilateral multiple pulmonary nodules on HRCT with 10 cases accompanied by cysts, 6 cases with vessels in the cystic wall or crossing the cysts.

Gastric cancer (GC) has become the first malignant tumor with highest incidence rate and mortality of cancer in China, finding therapeutic targets for gastric cancer is of great significant for improving the survival rate of patients with GC. Recently, many of studies have shown that LncRNAs is involved in multiple biological progresses in the development of GC. This study, we screened for abnormally high expression of LncSHANK3 in GC through the TCGA database, and found that LncSHANK3 sponge adsorbs miR-4530, further competing with MNX1 and binding to miR-4530.

Background: Severe bleeding remains a significant concern in laparoscopic resection for hepatic hemangioma. It is rarely reported that how the degree of major vessels involvement impacts on severe bleeding. The present study primarily aimed to analyze the impacts of the number of involved major vessels (NIMV) during laparoscopic surgery for hepatic hemangioma and evaluate the risk factors associated with increased bleeding.

Background: Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) is a multisystem genetic disorder caused by chromosomal imprinting gene defects, with approximately 70% of cases resulting from paternal deletion of the chromosomal region 15. The main clinical features include severe infantile hypotonia, early-onset childhood obesity, hyperphagia, and underdeveloped external genitalia. As individuals with PWS age, they may exhibit irritability, social dysfunction, impaired gonadal development, and metabolic syndrome.

Neratinib, a typical small-molecule, pan-human tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI), has been licensed for the treatment of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive breast cancer. However, the underlying pharmacological mechanism is still unknown. In the current study, we report a novel function of Neratinib by showing that its treatment stimulates senescence of the mammary cancer AU565 cells.

Objective: To uncover the mechanisms underlying the development of colorectal cancer (CRC), we applied bioinformatic analyses to identify key genes and experimentally validated their possible roles in CRC onset and progression.
Methods: We performed Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis on differentially expressed genes (DEGs), constructed a protein-protein interaction (PPI) network to find the top 10 hub genes, and analyzed their expression in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD) and rectum adenocarcinoma (READ). We also studied the correlation between these genes and immune cell infiltration and prognosis and validated the expression of SLC9A2 in CRC tissues and cell lines using qRT-PCR and Western blotting.

Electroacupuncture (EA) is an effective alternative for the treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD). It reduces low-grade duodenal inflammation and improves the symptoms of FD by downregulating the expression of NF-κB p65 and NLRP3, but its mechanism needs to be elucidated. To examine the regulatory effect of electroacupuncture (EA) on intestinal flora and NF-κB p65/NLRP3 pyroptosis pathway in FD rats.
