Background: Complicated intra-abdominal infections (cIAIs), often caused by multidrug-resistant bacteria such as carbapenem-resistant (CRAB) and carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) are a critical challenge in ICUs. Owing to their high mortality and treatment failure rates, there is an urgent need for effective therapies. This trial will compare eravacycline to tigecycline for treating cIAIs in patients in the ICU, aiming to provide a superior treatment option.

Interdisciplinary cooperation with solution-focused brief therapy to reduce job stress, burnout, and coping in Chinese nurses: A randomised controlled trial.

Background: Increased job stress and burnout are common among clinical nurses in China, reducing their work efficiency and nursing quality. Multiple studies have been conducted on brief interventions to reduce job stress and burnout among nurses. However, research has been hampered by a lack of psychological knowledge among nursing staff.

Mediating effect of self-efficacy on the relationship between Big Five personality and medication adherence in Chinese hypertensive patients: a national cross-sectional study.

Objective: The study aims to evaluate personality characteristics, self-efficacy, and medication adherence in Chinese patients with hypertension, while also investigating how self-efficacy mediates the relationship between personality traits and medication adherence.

Methods: This investigation included 787 Chinese patients diagnosed with hypertension, as reported in the "2021 China Family Health Index Survey Report." The study employed several assessment tools such as a General Information Questionnaire, the Brief Big Five Inventory (BFI-10), the New General Self-Efficacy Scale (NGSES), and the Medication Adherence Rating Scale (MARS).

Dapagliflozin alleviates high-fat-induced obesity cardiomyopathy by inhibiting ferroptosis.

Aim: Dapagliflozin (Dapa) is a novel hypoglycaemic agent with multiple cardiovascular protective effects, and it is widely used in treatment of heart failure patients, but whether it can improve obese phenotype of heart failure and its mechanism is still unclear. Ferroptosis is an iron dependent form of cell death and has been proved to be an important role in heart failure. The aim of this study is to determine whether Dapa improves obesity-related heart failure by regulating ferroptosis in high-fat diet rats.

Asiaticoside protects against lung injury induced by intestinal ischemia/reperfusion via the upregulation of FoxM1.

Systemic inflammatory response syndrome and respiratory distress syndrome can be induced by lung injury caused by intestinal ischemia/reperfusion (II/R). There is no effective medical treatment for II/R-induced lung injury. Studies have shown that asiaticoside (AS) protects against lung injury and ischemia/reperfusion injury in several organs.

Association between dietary fatty acids and depressive symptoms in Chinese haemodialysis patients: a cross-sectional study.

Depression is highly prevalent in haemodialysis patients, and diet might play an important role. Therefore, we conducted this cross-sectional study to determine the association between dietary fatty acids (FA) consumption and the prevalence of depression in maintenance haemodialysis (MHD) patients. Dietary intake was assessed using a validated FFQ between December 2021 and January 2022.

Clinical Features and Risk Factors for Outcome in Hemodialysis Patients with COVID-19 after Complete Liberalization of Epidemic Control in China.

It is a promising way to improve appropriate prescription by the review and stewardship of antimicrobials, and Post-Prescription Review (PPR) is currently the main tool used in hospitals.
