Enzyme immobilized on magnetic nanomaterials is a promising biocatalyst with efficient recovery under applied magnets. In this study, a recombinant extracellular lipase from Aspergillus niger GZUF36 (PEXANL1) expressed in Pichia pastoris GS115 was immobilized on ionic liquid-modified magnetic nano ferric oxide (FeO@SiO@ILs) via electrostatic and hydrophobic interaction. The morphology, structure, and properties of FeO@SiO@ILs and immobilized PEXANL1 were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, x-ray diffraction, vibration sample magnetometer, and zeta potential analysis.

A total of 35 new quinazolinone derivatives bearing the 1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-][1,3,4]thiadiazole scaffold and the 4-piperidinyl linker were designed, prepared, and assessed for their antibacterial and antifungal activities. Among these derivatives, the chemical structure of compound was clearly verified via single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The experimental results revealed that some of the compounds displayed good even excellent inhibitory effects toward the tested phytopathogenic bacteria.

Herein, we report an unprecedented skeletal rearrangement reaction of tetrahydro-β-carbolines enabled by copper-catalyzed single-electron oxidative oxygenation, in which H O and O act as oxygen sources to generate a unique 2-hydroxyl-3-peroxide indoline intermediate. The synthetic reactivity of 2-hydroxyl-3-peroxide indoline species was demonstrated by a unique multi-step bond cleavage and formation cascade. Using a readily available copper catalyst under open-air conditions, highly important yet synthetically difficult spiro[pyrrolidone-(3,1-benzoxazine)] products were obtained in a single operation.

A novel cryptand-like anion receptor was synthesized in reasonable yield by a one-step condensation reaction. The UV-vis spectroscopic titrations indicated that cryptand bound AcO in preference to other monovalent anions (including its competing F and HPO) in CHCN, generating a 1:1 binding complex with = 51,000 M. Moreover, the crystal structures revealed that the acetate ion was encapsulated inside the cryptand's cavity in a 1:1 manner, through multiple N-H···O hydrogen bonds (although having two different crystal forms).

1,2,3-Triazolium salts have demonstrated significant potential in the fields of medicine and agriculture, exhibiting exceptional antibacterial, antifungal, anticancer, and antileishmanial properties. Moreover, these salts can be utilized as additives or components to produce nano- and fiber-based materials with antibacterial properties. In this review, we summarize several synthetic strategies to obtain 1,2,3-triazolium salts and the structures of 1,2,3-triazolium derivatives with biological activities in the domains of pharmaceuticals, pesticides, and functional materials.

A series of indazole derivatives were designed and synthesized by molecular hybridization strategy, and these compounds were evaluated the inhibitory activities against human cancer cell lines of lung (A549), chronic myeloid leukemia (K562), prostate (PC-3), and hepatoma (Hep-G2) by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) colorimetric assay. Inefficient usage, overdose, and post-application losses of conventional pesticides have resulted in severe ecological and environmental issues, such as pesticide resistance, environmental contamination, and soil degradation.
