Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN) is rare pancreatic tumor occurring most commonly in young females. The typical imaging appearance of SPN is of well-defined, encapsulated, and large heterogeneous tumors, consisting of solid and cystic components due to various degrees of intralesional hemorrhage and necrosis. However, atypical imaging presentation in the form of small solid tumors or uniformly cystic lesions might also be seen, which can be explained by specific pathological characteristics.

Background: In intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC), priority is often given minimize dose to the critical organs at risk (OARs) to avoid potential morbid sequelae. However, in T4 NPC, dosimetric inadequacy enforced by dose constraints on OARs may significantly impact tumor control.
Methods: This was a single-institute cohort that patients diagnosed between July 2005 and December 2010 with T4 NPC treated with IMRT.

BACKGROUND A fracture of the orbital floor can lead to complications such as enophthalmos, impaired eye motility, or diplopia, which is why it is necessary to reconstruct the bony walls of the orbit. This study from a single center in Niš, Serbia, included 58 patients with unilateral orbital floor fracture and aimed to use volumetric measurement to compare the fractured and non-fractured orbit before and after surgery using a titanium implant or a resorbable poly-d, l-lactic acid (PDLLA) implant. MATERIAL AND METHODS From 2018 to 2022, a total of 58 patients with unilateral orbital floor fractures were treated at the Clinic of Dental Medicine, Niš.

Although the widespread adoption of timely invasive reperfusion strategies over the last two decades has significantly improved the prognosis of patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), up to half of patients after angiographically successful primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) still have signs of inadequate reperfusion at the level of coronary microcirculation. This phenomenon, termed coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD), has been associated with impaired prognosis. The aim of the present review is to describe the collected evidence on the occurrence of CMD following primary PCI, means of assessment and its association with the infarct size and clinical outcomes.

Purpose: To investigate the added value of contrast enhancement boost (CE-boost) images in multiphasic contrast-enhanced CT (CE-CT) for diagnosing small (<20 mm) hypervascular hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included 69 patients (age, 74 ± 8 years; 52 men) with 70 hypervascular HCCs (<20 mm) who underwent multiphasic CE-CT (pre-contrast, late arterial phase [LAP], portal venous phase [PVP], and equilibrium phase). Two types of CE-boost images were generated by subtracting PVP from LAP (LA-PV) images and LAP from PVP (PV-LA) images to enhance the contrast effect of hepatic arterial and portal venous perfusion more selectively.

Background: Lesion gaps assessed by late-gadolinium enhancement magnetic resonance imaging (LGE-MRI) are associated with the atrial fibrillation (AF) recurrence after pulmonary vein isolation. Animal studies have demonstrated that the catheter-contact force (CF), stability, and orientation are strongly associated with lesion formation. However, the impact of those procedural factors on the lesion characteristics associated with AF recurrence has not been well discussed.
