Background: Despite French national recommendations since 2012 that all pregnant women be vaccinated against influenza, in 2021 this vaccine coverage is low - around 30 % - in France.
Objectives: To identify barriers to influenza vaccination during pregnancy by assessing how often women were offered this vaccination and how often they accepted it.
Study Design: We used data from the French national perinatal survey (ENP), which covered all births during one week in March 2021 (N = 12,614).

Background: Historically, women have been shown to underestimate their abilities, while men often assess themselves more accurately or overestimate. This study aims to determine self-assessment accuracy during online Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs) according to gender.
Methods: A prospective study was conducted among fourth-year medical students at Paris Cité University during faculty training OSCEs, utilizing Zoom® software for remote participation.

The aim of the study was to elucidate predictors associated with the initial choice of vascular access (VA) type. The secondary aim was to determine the initial VA's median utilization time and the factors governing it. This prospective cohort study included 387 hemodialysis (HD) patients admitted to the Clinic for Hemodialysis, Clinical Center University of Sarajevo, in consecutive order between January 2006 and December 2016.

Objective: To prevent post-partum haemorrhage (PPH), national and international guidelines recommend the administration of a prophylactic injection of oxytocin after all vaginal births. Although additional maintenance oxytocin is not recommended in the immediate postpartum, its administration is quite common (30 % of French births in 2021). To assess in a single center, the frequency and determinants associated with the administration of maintenance oxytocin in immediate postpartum.

Hospital discharge databases (HDDs) are increasingly used for research on health of newborns. Linkage between a French population-based cohort of newborns with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and national HDD showed that the HIE ICD-10 code was not accurately reported. Our results suggest that HDD should not be used for research on neonatal HIE without prior validation of HIE ICD-10 codes.

Background: Adverse pregnancy outcomes in women with primary Sjögren's syndrome have only been evaluated retrospectively using heterogeneous methods and with contradictory results. We aimed to describe adverse pregnancy, delivery, and birth outcome risks in pregnant women with primary Sjögren's syndrome compared with those of a matched general population in France, and to identify factors predictive of disease flares or adverse pregnancy outcomes.
Methods: We conducted a multicentre, prospective, cohort study in France using the GR2 (Groupe de Recherche sur la Grossesse et les Maladies Rares) registry.

Objective: To assess the external validity and clinical relevance of current references for umbilical artery resistance index (UA RI) in daily practice.
Methods: Retrospective cross-sectional single center study including all UA RI measurements between 22 and 40 gestational weeks (GW) from distinct patients between 2014 and 2022. Patients with normal pregnancies and normal neonatal outcomes that had an UA RI measurement between 2014 and 2019 were used to calculate reference ranges.

Background: The value of formative objective structured clinical examinations (OSCEs) during the pre-clinical years of medical education remains unclear. We aimed to assess the effectiveness of a formative OSCE program for medical students in their pre-clinical years on subsequent performance in summative OSCE.
Methods: We conducted a non-randomized controlled prospective pilot study that included all medical students from the last year of the pre-clinical cycle of the Université Paris-Cité Medical School, France, in 2021.

Background: Recent studies have demonstrated that a routine third-trimester ultrasound scan may improve the detection of small for gestational age infants when compared with clinically indicated ultrasound scans but with no reported reduction in severe perinatal morbidity. Establishing the optimal gestational age for the third-trimester examination necessitates evaluation of the ability to detect small for gestational age infants and to predict maternal and perinatal outcomes. Intrauterine growth restriction most often corresponds with small for gestational age infants associated with pathologic growth patterns.

Introduction: Previous publications have shown that glucose supplementation could reduce labor duration in women with induction of labor with a favorable cervix but none have shown it for women with an unfavorable cervix. The purpose of our study was to assess the impact on labor duration of a protocol of glucose supplementation used for induction of labor in women with an unfavorable cervix.
Material And Methods: The protocol implemented in November 2017 added glucose supplementation by 5% dextrose at 125 mL/h to Ringer lactate for women with an unfavorable cervix with labor induced with dinoprostone gel.

Our understanding of the various aspects of pregnancy in women with kidney diseases has significantly improved in the last decades. Nevertheless, little is known about specific kidney diseases. Glomerular diseases are not only a frequent cause of chronic kidney disease in young women, but combine many challenges in pregnancy: immunologic diseases, hypertension, proteinuria, and kidney tissue damage.

Objective: To identify risk factors for moderate or severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), or neonatal death in clinical placental abruption.
Material And Methods: A nested case-control study within a cohort of singleton pregnancies complicated by placental abruption with a live born infant at two academic reference centers in France, from 2006 to 2019. Cases were patients who gave birth to an infant with moderate or severe HIE or death within 28 days (HIE/death group), and controls were patients whose infant did not have any of these outcomes (no-HIE group).

To develop a new tool to assess the global quality of care for post-partum hemorrhage (PPH)-the leading preventable cause of maternal mortality worldwide-and to identify characteristics of maternity units associated with inadequate PPH management. This is a secondary analysis of the EPIMOMS population-based study conducted in 2012-2013 in 119 french maternity units (182,309 women who gave birth). We included women with severe PPH.
