Background: Our aim is to investigate the association of treatment with survival in patients with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) by examining 6 historical treatment paths.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed data from 409 patients with radiologically centrally reviewed DIPG, sourced from the German Society of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology HIT-HGG trial database and the SIOPE-DIPG/DMG Registry. Survival outcomes were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method, and univariable and multivariable Cox proportional hazard models were estimated to study treatment effects.

Therapy-induced molecular adaptation of triple-negative breast cancer is crucial for immunotherapy response and resistance. We analyze tumor biopsies from three different time points in the randomized neoadjuvant GeparNuevo trial (NCT02685059), evaluating the combination of durvalumab with chemotherapy, for longitudinal alterations of gene expression. Durvalumab induces an activation of immune and stromal gene expression as well as a reduction of proliferation-related gene expression.

Background: Although advancements in the management of thoracic aortic disease have led to a reduction in acute mortality, individuals requiring postoperative reintervention experience substantially worse long-term clinical outcomes and increased mortality. We aimed to identify the risk factors for postoperative reintervention in this high-risk population.
Patients And Methods: This prospective observational cohort study included patients who survived endovascular or open surgical treatment for thoracic aortic disease between January 2009 and June 2020.
