Adolescents are vulnerable to Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections; thus, their antibodies should be maintained above the protective value. This study aimed to evaluate the immune response and safety to the SARS-CoV-2 protein subunit recombinant vaccine (IndoVac) as a heterologous booster dose against COVID-19 in Indonesian adolescents. This open-label prospective intervention study enrolled 150 clinically healthy adolescents aged 12-17 years who had received complete primary doses of the CoronaVac vaccine from Garuda Primary Care Centres in Bandung City.

Background: High sedentary times (ST) is highly prevalent in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD), highlighting the need for behavioural change interventions that effectively reduce ST. We examined the immediate and medium-term effect of the SIT LESS intervention on changes in ST among CAD patients enrolled in cardiac rehabilitation (CR).
Methods: CAD patients participating in CR at 2 regional hospitals were included in this randomized controlled trial (1:1, stratified for gender and hospital).

A number of countries now recommend population-wide depression screening for perinatal women, using validated tools. A stepped-approach to screening - involving universal screening with a brief measure, followed by targeted screening using a longer measure for those women identified as at greater risk - is used in some settings. This brief report describes the test performance characteristics of a 3-item mood screening instrument, developed for use within a digital parenting program.

Introduction: In 2011, we reported the overall incidence of Cushing's disease (CD) in Iceland from 1955 through 2009 to be 1.5 cases per million per year with highest incidence in the last decade of the study, a higher incidence then earlier reported. We now present a follow-up study reporting the epidemiology of the disease in Iceland during the 10-year period from 2010 to 2019.

Providing child and family health (CFH) services that meet the needs of young children and their families is important for a child's early experiences, development and lifelong health and well-being. In Australia, families living in regional and rural areas have historically had limited access to specialist CFH services. In 2019, five new specialist CFH services were established in regional areas of New South Wales, Australia.

The purpose of this cross-sectional study was to investigate the self-reported impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on physical activity (PA), anxiety, and depression amongst Greek older adults. Participants were older adults (>60 years) recruited from community centers of Achaia (Open Care Centers for Older Adults), in Western Greek mainland during the period of December 2020-March 2021. The information was gathered through telephone interviews.

Background: Somatic pathogenic variants (PVs) in homologous recombination DNA repair (HR)-related genes found in high-grade serous ovarian carcinomas (HGSC) are not well-characterised in older patients (≥70 years). This may reflect low testing rates in older patients.
Methods: Data from 1210 HGSC patients in AACR Project GENIE and 324 patients in an independent dataset INOVATe were analysed.
Visitor restrictions in long-term care (LTC) have had many consequences for residents, their families and care providers. The value of family presence in LTC was obscured during the COVID-19 pandemic until the designation of essential care partners (ECPs) was introduced to support the re-entry of family caregivers into LTC. Three ECPs share their personal experiences of caring for a loved one in LTC before and during the pandemic.

Background: Little is known about the pathways linking parent feeding practices with appetitive traits and BMIz throughout infancy. This study examined bidirectional associations between parental feeding practices, infant appetitive traits, and infant BMIz.
Methods: Parents (n = 380) of infants aged less than 6 months at baseline reported their feeding practices (using the Feeding Practices and Structure Questionnaire (FPSQ) for infants and toddlers), infant appetitive traits (using the Baby Eating Behaviour Questionnaire) and infant BMIz (parent-reported) at three timepoints (< 6 months, ~ 9 months, ~ 12 months) up to 12 months of age.

Study Objectives: While light therapy has proven effective in re-entraining circadian rhythms, the potential of such an intervention has not been evaluated systematically in post-comatose patients with disorders of consciousness (DOC), who often have strongly altered circadian rhythms.
Methods: We recorded skin temperature over 7-8 days in patients with DOC in each of two conditions: habitual light (HL), and dynamic daylight (DDL) condition. While patients were in a room with usual clinic lighting in the HL condition, they were in an otherwise comparable room with biodynamic lighting (i.

Type 2 diabetes and its associated comorbidities are growing more prevalent, and the complexity of optimising glycaemic control is increasing, especially on the frontlines of patient care. In many countries, most patients with type 2 diabetes are managed in a primary care setting. However, primary healthcare professionals face the challenge of the growing plethora of available treatment options for managing hyperglycaemia, leading to difficultly in making treatment decisions and contributing to treatment and therapeutic inertia.

Examining appetitive traits with person-centered analytical approaches can advance the understanding of appetitive phenotype trajectories across infancy, their origins, and influences upon them. The objective of the present study was to empirically describe appetitive phenotype trajectories in infancy and examine the associations with infant and parent factors. In this longitudinal cohort study of Australian infants, parents completed three online surveys ~3 months apart, beginning when the infant was <6 months.

Introduction: Physiotherapy is highly recommended for persons with haemophilia (PWH), to regain functioning after bleeding and to maintain functioning when dealing with haemophilic arthropathy. However, many PWH live too far from their Haemophilia Comprehensive Care Centre (HCCC) to receive regular treatment at their HCCC. Physiotherapists in primary care may have limited experience with a rare disease like haemophilia.

Objectives: The study was to construct reduction-responsive chondroitin sulfate A (CSA)-conjugated TOS (CST) micelles with disulfide bond linkage, which was used for controlled doxorubicin (DOX) release and improved drug efficacy in vivo.
Methods: CST and non-responsive CSA-conjugated TOS (CAT) were synthesized, and the chemical structure was confirmed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) spectroscopy, fluorescence spectrophotometer and dynamic light scattering. Antitumour drug DOX was physically encapsulated into CST and CSA by dialysis method.

Early intervention is critical for addressing the challenge of childhood obesity. Yet many preventive interventions do not target infants most at risk of future overweight or obesity. This systematic review examines interventions delivered before 2 years that aim to ameliorate excess weight gain among infants at high risk of overweight or obesity, due to sociodemographic characteristics, parental weight or health status, infant feeding or health behaviours.

Background: In order to measure and understand trajectories of parental feeding practices and their relationship with child eating and weight, it is desirable to perform assessment from infancy and across time, in age-appropriate ways. While many feeding practices questionnaires exist, none is presently available that enables tracking of feeding practices from infancy through childhood. The aim of the study was to develop a version of the Feeding Practices and Structure Questionnaire (FPSQ) for parents with infants and toddlers (< 2 years) to be used in conjunction with the original FPSQ for older children (≥2 years) to measure feeding practices related to non-responsiveness and structure across childhood.
