Digital transformation is crucial for sustainable development of enterprises and for addressing the conundrum of "efficiency and environment". Utilizing a dataset from A-share listed companies in China from 2007 to 2021, this paper investigates the direct impact, underlying mechanism and driving effect of enterprise digital transformation on carbon emission intensity. The findings reveal that: (1) At this stage, digital transformation in listed companies effectively reduces their carbon intensity, but the relationship between the two is not linear; instead, it exhibits a U-shaped trajectory, initially decreasing then increasing.

Background: The economic functions of families are strengthened by the labor supply of family members. However, an in-depth discussion can still be held on the impact of the labor supply of family members on the non-economic functions of families, such as residential, social and psychological functions. This paper sought to understand the household non-economic welfare of women's working hours.

The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) makes it possible to transmit information in real time between vehicles, providing a modern approach for autonomous driving, traffic safety, and other applications. Roadside units (RSUs) contribute to the enhancement of IoV's reliability and transmission efficiency, while mitigating the impact of low IoV penetration. The objective of RSU deployment optimization is to minimize the total cost with the premise of ensuring IoV reliability.

With the decrease in fertility rate and the extension of life expectancy, China's ageing degree is deepening, and there is a decrease in the number of labor force individuals, leading to an increase in the burden of old-age care and constraining economic growth. The improvement of human capital can promote economic growth. Research is rquired to determine whether factors such as the teacher-student ratio (quality of education) and the average number of years of schooling (quantity of education) can help alleviate the negative impacts of ageing.

China has placed "mass entrepreneurship, mass innovation" as an important strategic deployment, and in 2020, China proposed further promoting the high-quality development of migrant workers returning to their hometowns for entrepreneurship. For migrant workers, the employment modes advocated by the above-mentioned policies correspond to starting a business in their own household registration location and returning to their hometowns for entrepreneurship. Therefore, this study aims to explore the impact of different employment modes of migrant workers on their family living standards.

This paper explore the impacts and mechanisms of digital literacy of farm households on income. The baseline regression of the impact of digital literacy of farm households on household income uses a fixed effects regression model, and the 2SLS regression model is used to address the endogeneity problem present in the model. The findings reveal that improving digital literacy among rural households significantly increases their family income, a result that remains robust even after considering endogeneity issues.

Property management enterprises, despite witnessing a mostly stagnant expansion and enhancement of their existing operations, have, owing to the unique nature of their services, continued to experience a relatively positive competitive environment. Notably, the recent emphasis in property management companies has been on the development of value-added services at the community level, which represents a critical avenue for securing a competitive edge by addressing consumer demands.

The efficient use of land resources is key to achieving the dual goals of "carbon neutrality" and high-quality development while addressing the challenges of imbalance between ecological protection and economic development in river basins. This study combines remote sensing data with land use change modeling to generate maps of land use changes in the past and present, and by integrating the Grey multi-objective optimization-Patch-level land use simulation (GMOP-PLUS) model with the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project 6 (CMIP 6) development pathways, it has defined 12 target scenarios to simulate and predict the trends of changes over the next 30 years, providing a basis for formulating future land management policies. We found that from 1980 to 2020, grassland dominated (41%), with the largest increase in built-up land, and a decrease in unused land and cropland by 5.

Background: Diabetes poses a serious global challenge, given its increasing prevalence, detrimental effects on public health, and substantial economic burden. Since 1950s, tens of drugs have been approved by the United States (US) Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In the past decade, the medical community and regulatory agencies have moved away from the glucose-centric paradigm and increasingly call for a holistic approach to assess different treatments' benefits and harms.

Wuhan, China, where SARS-CoV-2 was detected first, has been recorded as one of the epicenters with the highest COVID-19 fatality rates worldwide. High COVID-19 fatality rates may stem from severe medical resource scarcity, especially in the early stage of the pandemic outbreak. In the first few weeks of the COVID-19 outbreak, Wuhan experienced the hardship of a severe "hospital run" period, when hospitals operated far beyond their maximum capacity and then soon transformed into "inclusive healthcare," that is, every infectious person can access free medical treatment.

Based on the panel data of Chinese Family Panel Studies (CFPS) and cities from 2012 to 2020, this paper explores the impact of financial spatial structure on household financial vulnerability and the moderating effect of financial regulation and financial technology from the perspective of the "local market effects" and "spatial spillover effects" of finance. It is indicated that: firstly, the "local market effects" and "spatial spillover effects" of financial spatial structure effectively alleviate household financial vulnerability and the conclusion is still hold true after conducting endogeneity analysis and a series of robustness test. Secondly, promoting household entrepreneurship, optimizing asset allocation, and enhancing residents' financial literacy are crucial channels through which financial spatial structure influences household financial vulnerability.

This study analyzes the influence of air curtain diameter and internal duct structure on the uniformity of an air curtain using Fluent numerical simulation combined with an experimental method after actual measurement of relevant parameters at the construction site, and simulates the best dust insulation parameters of a uniform air curtain. As the diameter of the air curtain supply duct increases and the internal air duct structure is reasonably designed, the axial static pressure of the air curtain generator and the air velocity at the curtain outlet are more uniform, which forms a higher strength of the air curtain. The best dust separation parameter of the uniform air curtain is the vertical downward generated air curtain with an outlet air velocity of 12 m/s and an outlet strip slit width of 80 mm, in which the dust separation efficiency could reach about 79.

This study evaluated the health-promoting effects of assistive technology(AT) from a holistic health perspective with the data from the rapid Assistive Technology Assessment (rATA) survey conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) in China in 2021. Through a generalized ordered logit regression, we found that AT mainly aids in the reduction of "severe impairment" in basic activities of daily living (BADL) and facilitates the attainment of "minimal impairment" in instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), indicating that AT at the current stage not only serves as a tool to maintain basic survival, but also plays a crucial role in promoting overall health. Further research ascertained that the effects of assistive technology on BADL and IADL bear resemblances between two age groups but differ between urban and rural residents.

The attention and sentiment of the public are crucial for better implementation of waste sorting behaviors and moving towards green living. In this study, web scraping technology was used to collect 367,856 Weibo posts related to waste sorting from Sina Weibo. Utilizing text co-occurrence networks, Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling, and a deep learning model combining the Affective Cognitive Model (OCC) with Long Short-Term Memory Model (LSTM) (referred to as OCC-LSTM), we comprehensively understand the text at both micro and macro levels, analyzing the attention and sentiment of the public towards waste sorting behaviors on the Sina Weibo platform.

Indirect aggression has become a prevalent phenomenon that erodes the social media environment. Due to the expense and the difficulty in determining objectively what constitutes indirect aggression, the traditional self-reporting questionnaire is hard to be employed in the current cyber area. In this study, we present a model for predicting indirect aggression online based on pre-trained models.
