Pulmonary Division, Cantonal Hospital Winterthur (KSW), Winterthur, Switzerland.
Aims Of The Study: This prospective study, conducted with patients from the multidisciplinary post-COVID outpatient clinic at the Pulmonary Division of the Cantonal Hospital Winterthur, aimed to investigate changes in patients' main symptoms, elements that aided in coping with the condition and satisfaction with the consulting and therapeutic interventions.
Methods: After obtaining ethical approval, fifty patients were consecutively included in this longitudinal study, which incorporated three survey times post-consultation: t1 (0-7 days), t2 (4-8 weeks) and t3 (4-6 months). The survey comprised standardised questionnaires, including the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, the Post-COVID-19 Functional Status scale and the Chalder Fatigue scale, along with study-specific questions regarding symptoms and reasons for consulting the post-COVID outpatient clinic.

Purpose: Re-irradiation (re-RT) in head and neck cancer is challenging. This study prospectively explored the feasibility of re-RT in patients with loco-regionally recurrent or second primary head and neck cancer (LRR/SP HNC).
Methods: From 2004 to 2021, 61 LRR/SP HNC patients were treated with re-RT, defined as having a second course of RT with curative intent resulting in a cumulative dose of ≥100 Gy in an overlapping volume.

Background And Purpose: Knowledge about different etiologies of non-traumatic intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and their outcomes is scarce.
Methods: We assessed prevalence of pre-specified ICH etiologies and their association with outcomes in consecutive ICH patients enrolled in the prospective Swiss Stroke Registry (2014 to 2019).
Results: We included 2,650 patients (mean±standard deviation age 72±14 years, 46.

(1) Background: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and can be treated with radical prostatectomy (RPE) or radiotherapy in the primary setting. Stereotactic radiotherapy (SBRT) has proven to be effective and well tolerated in this setting. However, if SBRT is an equally promising treatment option if applied in the adjuvant or salvage setting after RPE remains unknown.

Purpose: To develop a normal tissue complication probability model including clinical and dosimetric parameters for high-grade temporal lobe radionecroses (TRN) after pencil beam scanning proton therapy.
Methods And Materials: We included data on 299 patients with skull base and head and neck tumors treated with pencil-beam scan proton therapy, with a total dose of ≥60 Gy (relative biological effectiveness) from May 2004 to November 2018. We considered 9 clinical and 27 dosimetric parameters for the structure-wise modeling of high-grade (grade ≥2) TRN.

Objective: The aim of this study was to explore to what extent a combined counselling and pulmonary rehabilitation program (PR) influences the perception of physical activity (PA) and motivation for behavioral change in PA in individuals with COPD. The results of previous quantitative trial that investigated the effect of this combined treatment on daily PA were inconclusive. It is conjectured that a more targeted tailoring of the counselling and PR intervention could improve its effectiveness.

Clinic for Radiotherapy and Radiation Oncology, Ruppiner Kliniken GmbH, University Hospital of the Medizinische Hochschule Theodor Fontane Brandenburg, Neuruppin, Germany.
Objective: To prospectively analyze the feasibility of an algorithm for patient preparation, treatment planning, and selection for deep inspiration breath-hold (DIBH) treatment of left-sided breast cancer.
Methods: From February 2017 to July 2019, 135 patients with left-sided breast cancer were selected and prepared for radiotherapy in DIBH. 99 received radiotherapy for the breast alone and 36 for the breast including the lymphatic drainage (RNI).

Background: Radiotherapy (RT) is an established, potentially curative treatment option for all risk constellations of localized prostate cancer (PCA). Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) and dose-escalated RT can further improve outcome in high-risk (HR) PCA. In recent years, shorter RT schedules based on hypofractionated RT have shown equal outcome.

Objective: To assess the impact of (low) dose irradiation to the lungs and heart on the incidence of pneumonitis and pulmonary function changes after thoracic radiotherapy (RT). Methods/Material: Data of 62 patients treated with curative thoracic radiotherapy were analyzed. Toxicity data and pulmonary function tests (PFTs) were obtained before RT and at 6 weeks, at 12 weeks, and at 6 months after RT.
