This retrospective study explores the intervention effect of preventive nursing on participants with traumatic flail chest caused by multiple rib fractures. In this study, 92 patients with multiple rib fractures from a certain hospital from July 2020 to June 2022 were chosen as the research subjects. They were divided into research group and a control group according to different nursing methods.

Objective: To look into the effects of different anesthesia methods on the labor process and the expression of serum estrogen and progesterone in primiparas with painless labor.
Methods: 60 primiparas receiving painless labor were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into either a Spinal & Continuous epidural anesthesia group (n = 30) or a continuous epidural anesthesia group (n = 30), anesthesia is administered using the corresponding anesthesia method. The authors compared serum estrogen and progesterone, inflammatory index expression, pain degree and neonatal health status in different periods.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of long-term administration of JLD vs placebo on the incidence of diabetes in participants with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and multiple metabolic abnormalities.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This multicenter, double-blind, placebo-controlled randomized clinical trial (FOCUS) was conducted across 35 centers in 21 cities in China from June 2019 to February 2023.

Background: Although stroke-related dysphagia has been shown to influence quality of life (QOL), the underlying mechanisms have yet to be uncovered.
Objective: This study aims to investigate the mediating role of nutritional status and psychological disorders in the relationship between stroke-related dysphagia and QOL in stroke patients and explore the moderating effect of enteral nutrition mode.
Methods: In 2022, A questionnaire survey using stratified random sampling was conducted on 5,322 stroke patients with dysphagia, including Functional Oral Intake Scale (FOIS), Swallowing Quality of Life Questionnaire, Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), and Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) to assess dysphagia, QOL and psychological disorders, respectively, for each participant.

Objectives: To observe the clinical efficacy of timing umbilical therapy for neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury based on the midnight-noon and ebb-flow doctrine.
Methods: Sixty patients with neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury were randomly divided into a trial group and a control group, with 30 patients in each group. In the trial group, based on the midnight-noon and ebb-flow doctrine, umbilical therapy was given at the time zone, 15:00 to 17:00.

Objective: To investigate the influence of inflammatory factors on semen parameters in the seminal plasma of obese men.
Methods: Based on the body mass index (BMI), 171 males were divided into a normal group (BMI < 24 kg/m2, n = 59), an overweight group (24 ≤ BMI < 28 kg/m2, n = 54), and an obesity group (BMI =≥ 28 kg/m2, n = 58). The routine semen parameters of the subjects were obtained by computer-assisted semen analysis, the levels of TNF-α, IL-6 and VEGF in the seminal plasma were measured by ELISA, and the correlation of BMI with the above indexes was analyzed.

Objective: To explore the efficacy of local acupuncture therapy on post-stroke pseudo-bulbar palsy and the clinical advantageous protocol of local acupuncture therapy.
Methods: Eighty patients of post-stroke pseudo-bulbar palsy were randomized into a quick needle insertion group and a routine acupuncture group, 40 cases in each one. The western medicine, such as thrombolysis, lipid regulation, antiplatelet aggregation, antihypertension and hypoglycemic therapy method was all used in the two groups.

Objective: To observe therapeutic effects of different therapies on intracerebral hemorrhage at acute stage.
Methods: One hundred and twenty-five cases of intracerebral hemorrhage at acute stage were randomly divided into a combined treatment group, an acupuncture group, a Xingnaojing group and a routine treatment group, and effects of different treatment programs on the hematoma absorption velocity and nervous function defect scores were observed.
