Objective: The efficacy of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) combined with I particle implantation in the treatment of portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT) in hepatocellular carcinoma was discussed and analyzed in this study.
Methods: A total of 127 patients with primary hepatocellular carcinoma (PHC) complicated with PVTT admitted to our hospital from March 2017 to June 2018 were enrolled. The patients were classified into an observation group (n=69) and a control group (n=58) in the light of the different treatment methods.

Objective: This study investigated and analyzed the effect of Thymopentin on immune function and inflammatory levels in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients who were undergoing maintenance hemodialysis.
Methods: A total of 112 patients with ESRD on regular hemodialysi from May 2018 to October 2019 were chosen and classified into an observation group and a control group by a convenience sampling method, with 56 cases in each group. The control-group was treated with conventional therapy, and the observation-group was treated with thymic pentapeptide based on the conventional treatment.

Objective: To investigate the therapeutic effect and safety of different doses of apatinib mesylate combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced oral cancer.
Methods: Totally 100 patients with advanced oral cancer admitted to our hospital from January 2019 to July 2020 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into a control group (500 mg apatinib mesylate combined with chemotherapy) and an experimental group (250 mg apatinib mesylate combined with chemotherapy). The two groups were compared in terms of the incidence of adverse reactions, treatment effective rate, disease control rate, objective response rate, Karnofsky performance status (KPS) score (quality of life), score of the mental status scale in non-psychiatric settings (MSSNS), survival rates and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2) after treatment.

Methods: Fifty-seven patients with T2DM and fifty-seven patients with T2DM complicated with chronic periodontitis (CP) admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to March 2021 were enrolled as the research objects and assigned to the T2DM group and T2DM+CP group respectively. Additionally, 57 healthy controls from the hospital physical examination center during the same period were included as the healthy controls.

Objective: To explore the relationship of the size and concentration of low density lipoprotein (LDL) particles and high density lipoprotein (HDL) particles and the coronary stenotic degree of stable coronary artery disease.
Methods: Altogether 62 patients with coronary disease confirmed by coronary angiography treated in our hospital from March 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the observation group, and 62 healthy persons in the same period were chosen as the control group. The particle size of LDL and HDL protein complexes were measured and we then calculated the concentration ratio to explore the relationship between the two types of lipoprotein particles and the degree of coronary artery disease.

The patients in the control group were treated with CO laser resections under laryngoscopy combined with cisplatin injections, and the patients in the observation group were treated with low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation combined with cisplatin injections.

In addition, 34 healthy pregnant women who underwent pregnancy tests in our hospital were recruited as the normal group.

Methods: Thirty hematological malignancy patients who were hospitalized in our hospital from June 2019 to December 2019 were recruited as the study cohort and placed in the disease group, and 30 healthy people were also recruited for the study and placed in the healthy control group. The CD200/CD200R expression level in the two groups' peripheral blood was measured using real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays were used to measure the interleukin 17 (IL-17), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) expression levels in the two groups' peripheral blood.

Purpose: To investigate the significance of the hemalexin C1q, retinal-binding-protein (RBP), and urinary N-acety1-β-D-glucosaminidase (NAG) levels in the diagnosis and prognosis of children with purpura nephritis.
Methods: A total of 130 children with purpura nephritis admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to December 2019 were recruited as the study cohort, including 43 children with purpura nephritis as the observation group, 51 children with purpura nephritis as the control group, and 36 healthy children undergoing physical examinations at the same time period as the healthy group. The basic data of the three groups of children were compared, and the hemalexin C1q, RBP, and urinary NAG levels were observed.

Objective: To study the management of thrombus during direct coronary intervention in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 332 acute myocardial infarction patients receiving coronary artery intervention in our hospital from May 2017 to May 2019. Among them, 221 patients received thrombus aspiration and 111 patients received thrombus aspiration combined with platelet membrane glycoproteins receptor antagonist.
Objective: To investigate the correlation between the vitamin A, D, and E levels and recurrent respiratory tract infections (RRTIs) in children of different ages.
Methods: A total of 150 RRTI patients were divided into three groups: the 0 to 2 year-old group, the 3-5 year-old group, and the 6-14 year-old group. Collectively, we refer to the three groups as the RRTI group.
