To evaluate the impact of perioperative comprehensive nursing intervention on postoperative urinary incontinence, various aspects of patient well-being were assessed. The comprehensive group, that received the nursing intervention, demonstrated significant improvements in self-care skills, health knowledge level, self-care responsibility, and self-concept compared to the standard group. The findings indicate that perioperative comprehensive nursing intervention has a remarkable effect on patients undergoing laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.

CD4 T cells mediate the pathogenesis of renal ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI). Emerging research suggests that a Th17/regulatory T cell (Treg) imbalance plays a pivotal role in the development of renal IRI. A recently identified negative checkpoint protein, T cell immunoglobulin domain and mucin domain family 3 (Tim-3), inhibits the immune response by binding to its ligand, galectin-9 (Gal-9).

To screen for common target genes in intracranial aneurysms (IA) and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), construct a common transcriptional regulatory network to predict clusters of candidate genes involved in the pathogenesis of T2DM and IA, and identify the common neurovascular markers and pathways in T2DM causing IA. Microarray datasets (GSE55650, GSE25462, GSE26969, GSE75436, and GSE13353) from the GEO database were analyzed in this research. Screening of the IA and the T2DM datasets yielded a total of 126 DEGs, among which 78 were upregulated and 138 were downregulated.

Background: Air pollution may induce or reinforce nasal inflammation regardless of allergy status. There is limited direct clinical evidence informing the treatment of airborne pollution-related rhinitis.
Objective: To assess the effectiveness of intranasal budesonide in adults with self-reported rhinitis symptoms triggered/worsened by airborne pollution.

Background: Early prediction of acute kidney injury (AKI) can allow for timely interventions, but there are still few methods that are easy and convenient to apply in predicting AKI, specially targeted at patients with minimal change disease (MCD). Motivated by this, we aimed to develop a predicting model for AKI in patients with MCD within the KDIGO criteria.
Methods: Data on 401 hospitalized adult patients, whose biopsy was diagnosed as MCD from 12/31/2010 to 15/7/2021, were retrospectively collected.

Purpose: This study was conducted to determine the expression and prognostic relevance of long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 839 (LINC00839) in osteosarcoma (OS) and to explore the detailed roles of LINC00839 in regulating OS cell activities and the mechanisms responsible for its cancer-promoting activity in OS.
Methods: The expression of LINC00839 in OS tissues and cell lines was determined by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. After LINC00839 knockdown, cell counting kit-8 assay, flow cytometric analysis, transwell migration and invasion assay, and in vivo tumor xenograft assay were used to detect its effects on cellular processes in OS.

Malignant melanoma (MM) is the most aggressive form of skin cancer originating from melanocytes with increased proliferative and metastatic ability. Previous studies have revealed that microRNA-338-3p (miR-338-3p) functions as a tumor suppressor in several types of cancer, including cervical cancer, renal cell carcinoma and thyroid cancer. However, the function and mechanism underlying the action of miR-383-3p in MM remain unclear.

BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to determine the clinical significance of the expression levels of bladder cancer-specific antigen-1 (BLCA-1) in the diagnosis of bladder cancer (BC). The study also determined the relationship between BLCA-1 expression levels and the clinical manifestation of BC. MATERIAL AND METHODS Patient samples were derived from 66 cases of BC that presented at the Department of Urology, Affiliated Hospital of Chengde Medical University, were recruited from April 2014 to May 2015, and 64 healthy control cases.

Objective: To explore the methods for the therapeutic effect improvement in the treatment of post-stroke urinary retention.
Methods: Sixty-three patients of post-stroke urinary retention were randomized into an observation group (32 cases) and a control group (31 cases). The routine clinical medication of neurology and basic rehabilitation were adopted in the two groups.

Objective: To explore the clinical value of off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting by small incision at the left chest, and develop a better surgical regimen for coronary heart disease patients.
Patients And Methods: 201 coronary heart disease patients who need coronary artery bypass grafting were required and randomly divided into 2 groups including a control group and an observation group. There were 107 cases in the control group who received coronary bypass grafting by extracorporeal circulation; there were 103 cases in the observation group who received off-pump coronary bypass grafting by small incision at the left chest.

Osteoporosis, caused by a relative increase of bone resorption over bone formation, is characterized by decreased bone mass and bone strength, resulting in an increased incidence of bone fractures, which often leads to further disability and early mortality in the elderly due to impaired bone healing ability. The majority of therapeutics currently used in clinics for the treatment of osteoporosis are antiresorptive agents that exert their clinical effect by decreasing the rate of bone resorption. However, strategies solely aimed at antiresorption have limited therapeutic efficacy in restoring bone remodeling balance and enhancing osteoporotic fracture healing.

Objective: To compare the difference in the long-term efficacy between all-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) combined Compound Huangdai Tablet and ATRA combined methotrexate (MTX) and 6-mercaptopurine (6MP) as the sequential maintenance treatment of acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL) patients.
Methods: Totally 83 APL patients in the molecular remission (PML/RARalpha negative) were randomly assigned to two groups, the treatment group (45 cases) and the control group (38 cases) after they were induced to the complete remission (CR) by ATRA combined chemotherapy, and treated by sequential chemotherapy as the consolidated treatment for 3 therapeutic courses. Those in the treatment group were sequentially treated with ATRA and Compound Huangdai Tablet as maintenance therapy, while those in the control group were treated with ATRA and MTX + 6MP as maintenance therapy.

Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is that delivering balloon catheter and/or equipment such as a stent to the target coronary artery bypass peripheral artery, at the same time, expanding and opening the stenosis of coronary artery. Through several decades of development, PCI has become a most effective way to rescue patients with coronary heart disease and become one of the biggest advances in the field of heart disease. Because of the development of PCI, more lives have been saved in patients with coronary heart disease.
