Mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is genetically characterized by the IG::CCND1 translocation mediated by an aberrant V(D)J rearrangement. CCND1 translocations and overexpression have been identified in occasional aggressive B-cell lymphomas with unusual features for MCL. The mechanism generating CCND1 rearrangements in these tumors and their genomic profile are not known.

Follicular lymphoma (FL) and marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) are indolent mature B-cell neoplasms with variable clinical presentation and distinct histopathologic features. Recent advances in the biology and molecular characteristics of these lymphomas have further expanded our understanding of the heterogeneous nature of these lymphomas, with increasing recognition of specific disease entities within the broader categories of FL and MZL. Here, we discuss the conclusions of the 2022 International Consensus Classification of Mature Lymphoid Neoplasms (2022 ICC) dealing with FL, and review differences with the proposed WHO 5th Edition classification.

Female infertility has a multifactorial origin, and exposure to contaminants, including pesticides, with endocrine-disrupting properties is considered to be involved in this reproductive disorder, especially when it occurs during early life. Pesticides are present in various facets of the environment, and consumers are exposed to a combination of multiple pesticide residues through food intake. The consequences of such exposure with respect to female fertility are not well known.

Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is a ubiquitous virus detected in up to 95% of the general population. Most people are asymptomatic, while some may develop a wide range of EBV-associated lymphoproliferative disorders (LPD). Among them, EBV-positive T/NK LPD are uncommon diseases defined by the proliferation of T- or NK-cells infected by EBV.

ALK-positive histiocytosis is a recently described entity with few reported cases in literature. Herein, we report an unusual case of ALK-positive histiocytosis showing an Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD)-like presentation, occurring in a 37-year-old woman with a 2-year history of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). Our CLL patient relapsed 6 months after the end of fludarabine, cyclophosphamide and rituximab frontline therapy and complained of lower limb pains.
