Cold exposure therapy (CE), as an inexpensive method, has shown great potential in cancer therapy. Exploring the combined anti-tumor mechanism of CE and traditional therapies (such as photodynamic therapy (PDT)) is exciting and promising. Here, a bionic aggregation-induced emission photosensitizer system (named THL) is designed for combined CE to enhance anti-tumor immunotherapy.

Introduction: KRAS glycine-to-cysteine substitution at codon 12 (G12C) mutation is a well-recognized and increasingly promising therapeutic target with huge unmet clinical needs in NSCLC patients. IBI351 is a potent covalent and irreversible inhibitor of KRAS G12C. Here, we present the efficacy and safety of IBI351 from an open-label, single-arm, phase 2 pivotal study.

Our objective is to explore the protective effect of Dexmedetomidine on brain apoptosis and its mechanism through TREK-1 pathway. Forty male Sprague-Dawley rats were allocated into four groups: Sham, Cerebral Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury (CIRI), 50 µg/kg Dex, and 100 µg/kg Dex. A rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) was employed to simulate cerebral embolism.

Purpose: This study aimed to compare the clinical efficacy and prognostic analysis results of 8spheres polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) microspheres (8SM) with gelatin sponge (GS) particles for transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) in patients with stages A-B hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
Methods: Data were collected from 172 patients who underwent TACE at Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital from January 2014 to July 2020. Patients were divided into two groups: TACE group using 8SM plus lipiodol (8spheres PVA group, N = 89) and TACE group using GS particles plus lipiodol (the GS group, N = 83).

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignancies in China. Most HCC patients are first diagnosed at an advanced stage, and systemic treatments are the mainstay of treatment.
Summary: In recent years, immune checkpoint inhibitors have made a breakthrough in the systemic treatment of middle-advanced HCC, breaking the single therapeutic pattern of molecular-targeted agents.

Objective: This study evaluated the antitumor activity and safety of pemigatinib in previously treated Chinese patients with advanced cholangiocarcinoma and fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2) fusions or rearrangements.
Background: Pemigatinib provided clinical benefits for previously treated patients with cholangiocarcinoma carrying FGFR2 fusions or rearrangements and was approved for this indication in multiple countries.
Methods: In this ongoing, multicenter, single-arm, phase II study, adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic cholangiocarcinoma carrying centrally confirmed FGFR2 fusions or rearrangements who had progressed on ≥1 systemic therapy received 13.

The objective is to explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in prevention of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in urological patients undergoing laparoscopic and robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery. From April 2019 to April 2020, 200 patients who received urological laparoscopic surgery and robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, 100 cases in control group and 100 cases in observation group.

As a treatment option for cancer, thermal ablation has satisfactory effects on many types of solid tumors (such as liver and renal cancers). However, its clinical applications for the treatment of thyroid nodules and metastatic cervical lymph nodes are still under debate both in China and abroad. In 2015, the "Zhejiang Expert consensus on thermal ablation for thyroid benign nodules, microcarcinoma, and metastatic cervical lymph nodes (2015 edition)," was released by the Thyroid Cancer Committee of Zhejiang Anti-Cancer Association, China.

Objective: Circular RNAs (circRNAs) play a key role in cancer development and progression. Previously, circ_0005394 was found to be highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) screened by circRNA microarray. However, the research with regard to the functions and mechanisms of circ_0005394 in HCC remains unknown.

Induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) technology refers to the reprogramming of terminally differentiated somatic cells into pluripotent stem cells by introducing specific transcription factors that are known to regulate pluripotency, including Oct4, Sox2, Klf4, and c-Myc. In this study, we reprogrammed the primary fibroblasts isolated from the mice, which carry the Oct4-green fluorescent protein reporter, and employed wild-type littermates as a control to induce iPSCs, then knocked out by infecting with Cre virus at the cellular level. The pluripotency and self-renewal capacity of iPSCs were determined.

The aim of this study was to research the mechanism of circMAN2B2 in the development of glioma. In our study, we found that circMAN2B2 has a higher expression in glioma tissues and cells, which was negatively related to the overall survival of glioma patients. The cell counting kit-8 assay, 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine labeling assay, transwell assay, and the nude mice assay indicated that knockdown of circMAN2B2 inhibited the cell proliferation, invasion, migration and decreased tumor size.

Circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) are promising diagnostic markers in various types of cancers, including papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC). However, there is sparse information reported with regards to miRNA expression in papillary thyroid microcarcinoma (PTMC) or concerning the role of a combination of miRNAs and ultrasound (US) in the diagnosis of PTMC before surgery. Therefore, we designed a study that aimed to evaluate miRNA expression levels and their potential associations with US findings and determine whether miRNAs could be used as diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers of PTMC.

Introduction: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is one of the most serious syndromes in intensive care unit (ICU) patients, and is a mysterious problem in clinical practice worldwide. Due to unknown aetiology and mechanism, awareness of AKI diagnosis and treatment in China varies, resulting in underestimated incidence and poor prognosis. To solve this problem, we design this national survey of AKI in adult ICUs.

Estrogen receptors (ERs) are important for preventing endotoxin-induced myocardial dysfunction. Therefore, plant-derived phytoestrogens, which target ERs may also affect endotoxin-induced toxicity in cardiomyocytes. Our previous study revealed that notoginsenoside-R1 (NG-R1), a predominant phytoestrogen from Panax notoginseng, protects against cardiac dysfunction.
