Methods And Analysis: Keyword searches in MEDLINE and EMBASE up to 1 June 2023, with forward and backward citation searches of potentially relevant studies. Studies were included if primary outcome data were reported for patients with metastatic prostate cancer who had received reduced doses of enzalutamide, apalutamide or darolutamide.

Artificial intelligence across oncology specialties: current applications and emerging tools.

Oncology is becoming increasingly personalised through advancements in precision in diagnostics and therapeutics, with more and more data available on both ends to create individualised plans. In the field of general medicine, class effects, or therapeutic interchangeability, have been declared for several families of drugs including statins, calcium channel blockers and ACE inhibitors. The existence of such class effects enables healthcare payers to negotiate for substantially lower drug prices, thereby reducing financial toxicity, both at an individual and societal levels. Until now, the existence of class effects in oncology has been considered rare.

The role of artificial intelligence (AI) in cancer care has evolved in the face of ageing population, workforce shortages and technological advancement. Management of Overweight and Obesity in Patients With Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Increasing evidence has linked obesity to complications of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD); however, data are limited on the efficacy and impact of weight management strategies on the disease course. There are a strikingly limited number of interventional studies on weight management in patients with IBD, and the recent nutrition and IBD guidelines published in the United States do not mention weight management strategies. Overweight and obesity management in patients with IBD should follow a stepwise approach to assessment and treatment, including lifestyle modification, anti-obesity medications such as glucagon-like peptide-1 agonists, endobariatric procedures, and bariatric surgery (if deemed appropriate).

REFRAMING FEMINIST IDEAS, CHALLENGING STATE INCORPORATION: Activism Against Violence and the Feminicídio Law in Brazil.

Feminist debates on how the state incorporates and reshapes feminist categories of violence reveal unintended consequences, such as the depoliticization of these ideas. Through a case study of the Feminicídio Law in Brazil, I examine feminist writings on , following its state incorporation as a criminal category, to address the killing of women based on gendered reasons. Drawing on materialist feminist discourse analysis, I challenge the notion that institutionalization necessarily leads to depoliticization.
