Objectives:  To compare the retention and patient satisfaction of attachment-retained versus clasp-retained removable partial dentures (RPDs) over time and to evaluate the impact of retention force on patient satisfaction.

Objectives: This study explores the mental health situation in Kosova and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: Marketed quantities of antidepressants (N06A) and anxiolytics (N05B) from 2017 to 2022 were analyzed using the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical/Defined Daily Doses (ATC/DDD) methodology. Caution is advised as these quantities may not directly reflect patient usage and could include uses for conditions outside their primary indications.

The principal aim of this study was to optimize analytical methodology based on mass spectrometry for the evaluation of the quality of recombinant human insulin and its analogs. In this study ESI-MS was used to assess the quality of human insulin, short acting insulin analogs, insulin lispro, insulin aspart and insulin glulisine and long acting analogs including insulin glargine, insulin degludec, and insulin detemir, in respective pharmaceutical formulations. In this study, with the aimed to optimize analytical conditions, different factors influencing the analytical performance such as pH, ionic strength, sample dilution, organic solvent addition were addressed.

This descriptive cross-sectional study aimed to assess the knowledge and practices of pharmacy and nursing students at a medical college in Kosovo concerning unused and expired medications. A self-administered questionnaire was distributed to 500 randomly selected students of pharmacy (200 questionnaires) and nursing students (300 questionnaires). Overall, 336 returned the filled forms and the response rate was 67.

The study evaluates the chemical composition of the volatile constituents of ten plant species traditionally used as herbal tea in the Sharri Mountain regions (Kosovo and North Macedonia). Volatile constituents responsible for the flavour and fragrance of selected species (, , , , and ) were separated and then identified using GC-MS, whereas GC-FID is employed for the quantitative analysis. Experimental data revealed different patterns of volatile constituents depending on plant species.
