Spontaneous prolapse of the sigmoid colon and evisceration of the small bowel through a rupture in the rectosigmoid is a rare presentation. We report a case of a 60-year-old man presenting with massive small bowel evisceration through a perforation in a prolapsed sigmoid colon. The patient had a 2-year history of rectal prolapse.

Gall bladder malignancy is very common in northern part of India. The diseases can virtually metastasise to every organ of the body however; skin metastasis from gall bladder cancer is extremely rare. The authors report, probably the first case of fine needle aspiration cytology site metastasis on anterior abdominal wall skin from adenocarcinoma of the gall bladder.

Organ specific amyloidosis has been shown to be confined to various organs like liver, lung, spleen, urinary bladder and gastro-intestinal tract, but amyloidoma or tumoural amyloidosis of chest wall with no evidence of systemic amyloidosis is an extremely rare presentation and only two cases have been reported till now. The authors report a case of chest wall amyloidoma with review of literature.

Papillary glioneuronal tumor (PGNT) is a newly described mixed glioneuronal tumor, recently included in the World Health Organization classification of central nervous system tumors. We report morphologic and immunohistochemical characteristics PGNT of the pineal region extending into the third and lateral ventricles in a four-year-old male child and reviewed all the cases reported in the international literature till date. In this child the diagnosis of PGNT was established by endoscopic biopsy and squash smear examination.
