Unlabelled: The effects of high hydrostatic pressure (HHP) (400-650 MPa) and holding temperature (25-50 °C) in thermally assisted HHP processing on multi-scale structure of starch (granule, crystalline and molecular), techno-functional properties, and digestibility of sorghum starch (SS) were evaluated. Response surface methodology has verified that the process impact on the modification of SS was dependent primarily on the pressure level. As HHP increased, processed SS progressively lost their granular structure and Maltese cross, indicating gradual structural disorder within the granules.

The hydrogen produced ( ) in the Catalytic Naphtha Reforming (CNR) is important in quantity and quality, for the feedback of the process and for supplying the hydrotreatment processes in current refineries. In this work it is presented a study by process simulation using ® for finding operative transitional modes that simultaneously improve quality of the reformate and hydrogen production of the CNR. One of the striking features of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is the capsid, a fullerene cone comprised of pleomorphic capsid protein (CA) that shields the viral genome and recruits cofactors. Despite significant advances in understanding the mechanisms of HIV-1 CA assembly and host factor interactions, HIV-2 CA assembly remains poorly understood. Patients with colorectal cancers (CRCs) that have microsatellite instability (MSI) (MSI CRCs) face a better prognosis than those with the more common chromosomal instability (CIN) subtype (CIN CRCs) due to improved T cell-mediated anti-tumor immune responses. Previous investigations identified the cytosolic DNA (cyDNA) sensor STING as necessary for chemokine-mediated T cell recruitment in MSI CRCs. Here, we find that cyDNA from MSI CRC cells is inherently more capable of inducing STING activation and improves cytotoxic T cell activation by dendritic cells (DCs).

In order to solve the problem of logging calibration without a free pipe in the process of acoustic variable density logging and the subjective problem of the free pipe calibration method, this paper studies an attenuation rate calibration method based on acoustic variable density logging. Using the developed acoustic wave probe response relationship device and the acoustic wave probe calibration device, the response consistency of the receiving probe of the acoustic wave instrument and the frequency of the transmitting probe can be calibrated in the laboratory, and the response consistency and frequency calibration coefficient can be obtained. Through this coefficient, the acoustic wave attenuation rate can be derived.
