Background: Having a great amount of sedentary time is common among older adults and increases with age. There is a strong need for tools to reduce sedentary time and promote adherence to reduced sedentary time, for which eHealth interventions have the potential to be useful. Interventions for reducing sedentary time in older adults have been found to be more effective when elements of self-management are included.

Using Community Engagement to Create a Telecoaching Intervention to Improve Self-Management in Adolescents and Young Adults With Cystic Fibrosis: Qualitative Study.

Objective: This study aimed to devise and refine a patient-centered telecoaching intervention to foster self-management in AYA with CF using a combination of intervention development approaches, including an evidence- and theory-based approach (ie, applying existing theories and research evidence for behavior change) and a target population-centered approach (ie, intervention refinement based on the perspectives and actions of those individuals who will use it).

Intentional staged embolization via the "highway bypass" using a radial artery graft for a large posterior circulation aneurysm: illustrative case.

Background: The presence of significant tortuosity in access routes to aneurysms can interfere with catheter guidance and manipulation and significantly impact treatment strategies.

Observations: In this report, the authors combined intentional staged aneurysm embolization with the construction of a new direct access route, which they call a "highway bypass," for a symptomatic posterior circulation cerebral aneurysm that was difficult to access with a catheter. Notably, the highway bypass is used for catheter passage, and technical tips should be considered.

Background: External ventricular drains (EVDs) provide an invaluable diagnostic method for accessing cerebrospinal fluid and therapeutically treating elevated intracranial pressure. Introduction: Bilateral facial nerve palsy (FNP) is a rare condition that is idiopathic in only 20%. FNP is the most common cranial neuropathy in West Nile neuroinvasive disease (WNND) but is usually unilateral and only a few cases of bilateral FNP have been reported.
