Vibrational spectra of a series of gas-phase metal 1+ and 2+ ions solvated by acetone molecules are collected to investigate how the metal charge, number of solvent molecules and nature of the metal affect the acetone. The spectra of Cu(Ace)(N), Cu(Ace), and M(Ace), where M = Co, Ni, Cu, and Zn are measured photodissociation by monitoring fragment ion signal as a function of IR wavenumber. The spectra show a red shift of the CO stretch and a blue shift of the C-C antisymmetric stretch.

Rhabdomyolysis is a risk factor for acute kidney injury, transition towards chronic kidney disease, and death. The role of calcium phosphate deposits in the mechanisms of rhabdomyolysis-induced acute kidney injury (RAKI) is still unclear. Better insight of the role calcium in RAKI could lead to new therapeutic avenues.

Purpose: To provide agreed-upon guidelines on the management of a hyper-responsive patient undergoing ovarian stimulation (OS) METHODS: A literature search was performed regarding the management of hyper-response to OS for assisted reproductive technology. A scientific committee consisting of 4 experts discussed, amended, and selected the final statements. A priori, it was decided that consensus would be reached when ≥66% of the participants agreed, and ≤3 rounds would be used to obtain this consensus.

Importance: Optimal transfusion strategies in traumatic hemorrhage are unknown. Reports suggest a beneficial effect of 4-factor prothrombin complex concentrate (4F-PCC) on blood product consumption.
Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of 4F-PCC administration in patients at risk of massive transfusion.
Stem cell-based therapies have been foreshowed as a promising therapeutic approach for the treatment of several diseases. However, in the cancer context, results obtained from clinical studies were found to be quite limited. Deeply implicated in inflammatory cues, Mesenchymal, Neural, and Embryonic Stem Cells have mainly been used in clinical trials as a vehicle to deliver and stimulate signals in tumors niche.

Background: Impairment or distress caused by gambling disorder can be subjectively assessed via quality of life. The aim of this study was to develop a new patient-reported outcome instrument to explore the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in gambling disorders, the Gambling quality-of-life scale (GQoLS), and to document its psychometric properties.
Methods: A previous qualitative study had been conducted using focus groups of problem gamblers to identify areas of HRQoL impacted by gambling.

Many people with hemophilia A (PwHA) undergo surgery in their lifetime, often because of complications of their disease. Emicizumab is the first bispecific monoclonal antibody prophylactic therapy for PwHA, and its efficacy and safety have been previously demonstrated; however, there is a need to build an evidence base on the management of PwHA on emicizumab undergoing surgery. Data from the HAVEN 1-4 phase 3 clinical trials were pooled to provide a summary of all minor and major surgeries in PwHA with or without factor VIII (FVIII) inhibitors who were receiving emicizumab prophylaxis.

Haemophilia treatment has seen great advances in recent years with an accompanied reduced risk of physical activity (PA) related bleeds. Based on its known health benefits, people with haemophilia (PWH) are currently encouraged to regularly engage in PA. However, this may not always translate to increased levels of PA.

Background: Several techniques can be proposed as fertility sparing surgery in young patients treated for cervical cancer but uncertaincies remain concerning their outcomes. Analysis of oncological issues is then the first aim of this review in order to evaluate the best strategy.
Results: Data were identified from searches of MEDLINE, Current Contents, PubMed and from references in relevant articles from January 1987 to 15th of September 2021.

Background: Cabozantinib is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor with a substantial efficacy in metastatic renal cell carcinoma, and is associated with a challenging toxicity profile leading to frequent drug discontinuations. Whereas an exposure/safety relationship was demonstrated for this drug, an exposure/efficacy relationship is still unknown.
Patients And Methods: We carried out a monocentric, observational, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) study in patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma (INDS MR 5612140520).

Background: Optimal management of severe trauma patients with active hemorrhage relies on adequate initial resuscitation. Early administration of coagulation factors improves post-traumatic coagulation disorders, and four-factor prothrombin complex concentrate (PCC) might be useful in this context. Our main hypothesis is that four-factor PCC in addition to a massive transfusion protocol decreases blood product consumption at day 1 in severe trauma patients with major bleeding.

Introduction: Surgery plays a key role in the management of Neuroblastic tumours (NB), where the standard approach is open surgery, while minimally invasive surgery (MIS) may be considered an option in selected cases. The indication(s) and morbidity of MIS remain undetermined due to small number of reported studies. The aim of this study was to critically address the contemporary indications, morbidity and overall survival (OS) and propose guidelines exploring the utility of MIS for NB.

Objectives: The strategy of fertility preservation (FP) in cervical cancer has been challenged for several years and a therapeutic de-escalation seems to be necessary. In this context, we evaluated the oncological, fertility and obstetric outcomes of surgical techniques performed in our centre for FP.
Methods: This retrospective uni centric trial included 75 patients, managed at the Gustave Roussy Institute between 1995 and 2020, for cervical cancer (stage IB1 FIGO 2018) and having conducted a fertility preservation project after a complete pre-therapy work-up.

Members of the genus (Hypocreales), widely used as biofungicides, biofertilizers, and as model fungi for the industrial production of CAZymes, have actively been studied for the applications of their biological functions. Recently, the study of the nuclear genomes of has expanded in the directions of adaptation and evolution to gain a better understanding of their ecological traits. However, 's mitochondria have received much less attention despite mitochondria being the most necessary element for sustaining cell life.
