Methods: This retrospective single-centre study of diagnostic accuracy included consecutive patients admitted for acute adhesive SBO in 2015-2022, who were treated conservatively or underwent surgery within 24 h after CT. The gold standard for ischaemia was an intraoperative diagnosis for operated patients, while the absence of ischaemia was confirmed either by its absence during surgery or by clinical follow-up in patients who did not undergo surgery.

In this study, the removal of benzotriazole (BTA), a pervasive aquatic contaminant widely used for its anti-corrosion, UV-stabilizing, and antioxidant properties, by nanomagnetite, biochar, and nanomagnetite-biochar composite is investigated. Nanomagnetite and nanomagnetite-biochar composite were synthesized under anoxic conditions and tested for BTA removal efficiency at neutral pH under both oxic and anoxic conditions at different time scales. Within the short time scale (up to 8 h), the removal of BTA by nanomagnetite-biochar composite was shown to be due to BTA deprotonation by the nanomagnetite surface.

(1) Background: Hepatoblastoma and medulloblastoma are two types of pediatric tumors with embryonic origins. Both tumor types can exhibit genetic alterations that affect the β-catenin and Wnt pathways; (2) Materials and Methods: This study used bioinformatics and integrative analysis of multi-omics data at both the tumor and single-cell levels to investigate two distinct pediatric tumors: medulloblastoma and hepatoblastoma; (3) Results: The cross-transcriptome analysis revealed a commonly regulated expression signature between hepatoblastoma and medulloblastoma tumors. Among the commonly upregulated genes, the transcription factor LEF1 was significantly expressed in both tumor types.

The present article describes a step-by-step maximally digitalized workflow protocol with computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) in partial-arch edentulous patients rehabilitated with fixed dental prostheses and removable partial dentures (FDPs and RPDs). Facial digitalization, intraoral scans, and functional mandibular movement recordings were used to create a 4D virtual patient on commercially available CAD software. The fixed components including post-and-cores, both metal-ceramic with extra-coronal attachment and monolithic zirconia crowns, and the RPDs were manufactured by computer numerical controlled direct milling.
