Therefore, VD3 supplementation during the antenatal period could prevent the development of gestational diabetes via its effects on insulin secretion, insulin sensitivity, body mass index (BMI), and adiponectin production.
Objectives: To observe the effect of VD3 supplementation on adiponectin and BMI and to explore the effect of VD3 supplementation on the association among VD3, adiponectin, and BMI in pregnant women with gestational diabetes.
Objective: This cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the association between high cholesterol levels and the prevalence of periodontal disease among patients in the United States, utilizing data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) conducted between 2017 and 2020. We hypothesize that patients with high cholesterol levels will have a high prevalence of periodontal disease.
Methods: The study utilized a cross-sectional design, analyzing data from NHANES 2017-March 2020 pre-pandemic survey, a nationally representative survey.
The formation of an intradural extramedullary arachnoid cyst is a rare complication of spinal anesthesia.
