Purpose: To describe fecundity in female survivors of childhood cancer and consider the correlation with quality of life (QOL).

Materials And Methods: Of 1744 women treated for childhood cancer before the age of 15 years at one of eight French cancer treatment centers between 1948 and 1992, 1187 who were alive in 2005 were sent a self-administered questionnaire, including questions about health status, QOL (MOS SF-36), and fecundity. A standardized fecundity ratio (SFR) was calculated (SFR: observed/expected number of children) for each individual based on a national reference.

We aimed to study the association between three different methods of assessing the amount of amniotic fluid (subjective method (SM), deepest vertical pocket (DVP) and amniotic fluid index (AFI)) and estimated fetal weight (EFW) (in percentile or Z-score) after adjustment on maternal-fetal parameters. We performed a nationwide cross-sectional study through the French network of obstetric sonographers using the "flash" study method and including low-risk singleton pregnancies from 18-40 weeks. Crude and adjusted odds ratio were computed after stratification upon 2 and 3 trimester of pregnancy.

Background: The natural clinical and immunological courses following HIV seroconversion with CXCR4-tropic or dual-mixed (X4/DM) viruses are controversial. We compared spontaneous immunological outcome in patients harbouring an X4/DM virus at the time of seroconversion with those harbouring a CCR5-tropic (R5) virus.

Methods: Data were included from patients participating in CASCADE, a large cohort collaboration of HIV seroconverters, with ≥2 years of follow-up since seroconversion.
