Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a complex autoimmune disease impacting various organs, and this study aims to enhance early detection and management through comprehensive clinical profiling at diagnosis.
Conducted in Pune, India, the study involved 80 patients diagnosed with SLE, using detailed clinical assessments and follow-ups to track disease activity over 1.5 years.
Results showed that the majority of the patients were young women, with a variety of symptoms, including a high prevalence of oral ulcers, indicating the diverse clinical manifestations of SLE.
