In this article we present a clinical case of a female patient, 45 years old, with autoimmune encephalitis with antibodies to glutamate decarboxylase (GAD) beginning clinically with vertigo. According to high frequency of vestibular symptoms at the beginning and high frequency of admission to otoneurologist GAD-associated pathology should be included in differential diagnosis in complicated clinical cases with vertigo.
