A "turn-on" fluorescence sensor was developed for total detection of fumonisin B, B and B (FB, FB and FB) in maize samples. Rhodamine B isothiocyanate (RBITC) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were employed as the energy donor-acceptor pairs. The intensity of restored fluorescence was inversely proportional to the concentration of the FBs.

Methylation of the adenine base at the nitrogen 6 position (m6A) is the most common post-transcriptional epigenetic modification of RNA, and it plays a very important role in regulating gene expression. To investigate the role of m6A methylation in the expression of non-coding RNA and miRNA, we used a system of adenine base editors (ABEs). Here, we mutated regions up- and downstream of miRNA 675 m6A modification sites in the H19 locus using HEK293T, L02, MHCC97L, MHCC97H, A549, and SGC-7901 cells.

The aim of this study was to establish a multiplex PCR (mPCR) method that can simultaneously detect canine parvovirus (CPV-2), canine coronavirus (CCoV) and canine adenovirus (CAV), thereby eliminating the need to detect these pathogens individually. Based on conserved regions in the genomes of these three viruses, the VP2 gene of CPV-2, the endoribonuclease nsp15 gene of CCoV, and the 52K gene of CAV were selected for primer design. The specificity of the mPCR results showed no amplification of canine distemper virus (CDV), canine parainfluenza virus (CPIV), or pseudorabies virus (PRV), indicating that the method had good specificity.

The title compound, poly[bis-{μ-4,4'-bis-[(1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)meth-yl]biphenyl-κ:}bis-(nitrato-κ)zinc(II)], [Zn(NO)(CHN)] , is a two-dimensional zinc coordination polymer constructed from 4,4'-bis-[(1-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)meth-yl]-1,1'-biphenyl units. It was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The Zn cation is located on an inversion centre and is coordinated by two O atoms from two symmetry-related nitrate groups and four N atoms from four symmetry-related 4,4'-bis-[(1-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)meth-yl]-1,1'-biphenyl ligands, forming a distorted octa-hedral {ZnNO} coordination geometry.

Two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy (2DCOS) has been widely used to Infrared, Raman, Near IR, Optical Activity (ROA), Vibrational Circular Dichroism (VCD) and Fluorescence spectroscopy. In addition, several new developments, such as 2D hetero-correlation analysis, moving-window two-dimensional (MW2D) correlation, model based correlation (βν and kν correlation analyses) have also well incorporated into protein research. They have been used to investigate secondary structure, denaturation, folding and unfolding changes of protein, and have contributed greatly to the field of protein science.

A great deal of robustness is allowed when visual tracking is considered as a classification problem. This paper combines a finite number of weak classifiers in a SMC framework as a strong classifier. The time-varying ensemble parameters (confidence of weak classifiers) are regarded as sequential arriving states and their posterior distribution is estimated in a Bayesian manner.
