To comprehensively explore the potential toxicity of aquatic organisms exposed to chlorinated or brominated flame retardants (BFRs) and metals mixtures, it is necessary to find a common pathway to relate local toxic targeted sites or organs. A key challenge in environmental risk assessment (ERA) is how to clarify the same or different sites or organs of toxic action in a species after exposure to individual chemicals or chemical mixtures. In this study, zebrafish embryo was used to evaluate the sub-lethal toxicity (swim bladder damage) of tris(2,3-dibromo propyl) isocyanurate (TBC), chlorinated paraffins (CPs), hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD), Cu, Cd, Pb, Ag, and Zn through optical microscopy methods, and corresponding sub-lethal molecular levels (inflammation-related enzymes [deiodinase (DIO) enzymes] and transcriptional levels of key genes) in fish through quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR).

Researchers neglected the relevance of combining tourism with stakeholders' engagement and financial stability for unlocking the economic constraints. For this, current research intended to study the interplay of tourism recovery options under economic constraints with the role of stakeholders' engagement and financial stability. According to our data, China outperforms the other OECD members.

6-Gingerol, the main active ingredient in ginger, exhibits a variety of biological activities, such as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer activities, and can affect cell development. However, the effects of 6-gingerol on mammalian reproductive processes, especially early embryonic development, are unclear. This study explored whether 6-gingerol can be used to improve the quality of in vitro-cultured porcine embryos.

Lycopene-loaded emulsions were formulated with whey protein isolate (WPI) covalently modified with high methoxylated pectin (HMP) or/and chlorogenic acid (CA) prepared by dry heating or/and alkali grafting. Covalent WPI products were confirmed by SDS-PAGE and degree of graft/CA binding equivalent values. The α-helix and β-sheet percentage, surface hydrophobicity and fluorescence intensity of WPI decreased significantly (p < 0.

Exhaust air recycling is a simple and commonly used technique to save energy when using a dryer. The fixed-bed drying test device with increased efficiency by condensation is a clean and energy-saving drying test device developed by combining exhaust air recycling and condensation dehumidification technology. In this paper, through comparisons with or without exhaust air circulation using the single factor test of drying process parameters and the response surface test of corn drying on this test device to investigate the energy-saving effect and drying characteristics resulting from the novel drying method of increased efficiency by condensation.

Myocardial infarction (MI) is a cardiovascular disease (CVD) with high morbidity and mortality worldwide, often leading to adverse cardiac remodeling and heart failure, which is a serious threat to human life and health. The immune system makes an important contribution to the maintenance of normal cardiac function. In the disease process of MI, necrotic cardiomyocytes release signals that activate nonspecific immunity and trigger the action of specific immunity.

The paper established a consumption model though using the cointegration theory and ECM model, and used the annual data from 2002 to 2021 to examine the influence of uncertain expectations on the consumption behavior of rural residents in China. The research results show that consumers' income, consumption, consumption habits liquidity constraints and precautionary savings jointly produce the feelings of uncertainty, which will lead to rural consumers' uncertain expectations.

Particle size-dependent biological effects of silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are of great interest; however, the mechanism of action of silver ions (Ag) released from AgNPs concerning AgNP particle size remains unclear. Thus, we evaluated the influence of particle size (20, 40, 60, and 80 nm) on the acute 96-h bioaccumulation and toxicity (swim bladder damage) of AgNPs in zebrafish (Danio rerio) larvae, with a focus on the mechanism of action of Ag released from differently sized AgNPs. The 40- and 60-nm AgNPs were more toxic than the 20- and 80-nm versions in terms of inflammation and oxidative damage to the swim bladder, as indicated by inhibition of type 2 iodothyroxine deiodinase enzyme activity, mitochondrial injury, and reduced 30-50% adenosine triphosphate content.

As an important way for China to integrate into the international circulation, foreign direct investment (FDI) can not only increase China's capital accumulation but also directly affect inclusive green growth by promoting the diffusion and transfer of green technologies and activating the domestic market. Based on China's provincial panel data from 2007 to 2019, this paper discusses the following issues: first, Global Malmquist-Luenberger (GML) productivity index is used to measure and analyze the current situation of inclusive green growth in 30 provinces of China; second, we set a fixed effect panel model to test the relationship between FDI and inclusive green growth in China. Third, based on PVAR (panel vector autoregressive) model, the dynamic impacts of FDI and new urbanization on inclusive green growth are tested.

Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (), or guanosine triphosphatase , is a proto-oncogene that encodes the small guanosine triphosphatase transductor protein. Previous studies have found that can promote cytokine secretion, cell chemotaxis, and survival. However, its effects on milk fat synthesis in bovine mammary epithelial cells are unclear.

In order to better solve the problem of product logistics supply chains with short life cycles, a solution optimization of short life cycle product logistics supply chains based on support vector machines is proposed. This method recommends key technical problems and solutions through information represented by support vector machines and explore the research of short life cycle products to realize logistics supply chains. The research shows that, whether it is a retail channel or a network channel, the RMSE value of the effect index predicted by SVM is smaller than the RMSE value of the improved Bass.

There are three key points in logistics distribution: the distribution vehicle, the amount of goods, and the distribution path. Comprehensive calculation and optimization of these three parameters can plan a reasonable and efficient distribution scheme, especially the distribution path. This study aims to study the method of optimizing the logistics distribution path and strives to find the optimal distribution scheme and the shortest path, which can reduce the distribution error rate, distribution time, and labor costs, thus realizing intelligent management.

More than 10% of the world's population already suffers from varying degrees of diabetes mellitus (DM), but there is still no cure for the disease. Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is one of the most common and dangerous of the many health complications that can be brought on by DM, and has become the leading cause of death in people with diabetes. While research on DM and associated CVD is advancing, the specific mechanisms of their development are still unclear.
