Impact damage is the most destructive effect on the seeds during harvesting, handling, and storage, both on-farm and off-farm. The chickpea seeds' dicotyledonous characteristics and large mass and size make them susceptible to mechanical damage under impact loading. Tests were conducted to determine the extent of damage to chickpea seeds due to the impact caused by free fall.

We aim to design and evaluate an artificial neural network (ANN) method by taking advantage of the Teaching Learning-Based Optimization (TLBO) algorithm for the prediction of liver fibrosis stage in blood donors and hepatitis C patients.
Methods: We propose a method based on a selection of machine learning classification methods including multilayer perceptron (MLP) neural network, Naive Bayesian (NB), decision tree, and deep learning.

Background: Given the negative effect of postoperative pharmacological pain control on breastfeeding, the present study aimed to compare the effects of reflexology and Benson relaxation methods on pain, breastfeeding, and infant weight gain in women undergoing a cesarean section (C/S).
Methods: This randomized clinical trial was conducted on 135 women undergoing a C/S in the Gynecology Ward of Bushehr Persian Gulf Martyrs Hospital in Bushehr, Iran, in 2020. The participants were selected using convenience sampling, and randomly divided into three groups of foot reflexology, Benson relaxation, and control.

The effect of multiple parameters like pH, ultrasonic power, ultrasonic time, adsorbent dose, and initial Zn concentration on the adsorption efficiency was assessed using RSM-CCD. According to the acquired results, by increasing the adsorbent quantity, ultrasonic power, ultrasonic time, and pH, the Zn adsorption efficiency increased and the interaction between the variables of ultrasonic power/Zn concentration, pH/Zn concentration, pH/absorbent dose, and ultrasonic time/adsorbent dose has a vital role in the Zn adsorption.

Objective: Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) may present with signs and symptoms related to extramedullary involvement, therefore, leads to delayed diagnosis of ALL in children. This study aims to consider the extramedullary manifestations of ALL in children and their proper treatment.
Method: The databases were searched for all relevant subjects including "acute lymphoblastic leukemia", "clinical presentation", "unusual presentation", "childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia", "presenting features of ALL", "extramedullary presentation", and "atypical presentation" from April 1968 to June 2020.

In this study, for the first time, a novel magnetically recyclable MIL-101(Cr)/CoFeO nanocomposite was prepared a facile solvothermal method. The morphology, structural, magnetic and optical properties of the nanocomposite were characterized field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM), UV-visible spectroscopy (UV-visible) and BET surface area analysis. Furthermore, the sonocatalytic activity of the MIL-101(Cr)-based magnetic nanocomposite was explored for the degradation of organic dye pollutants such as Rhodamine B (RhB) and methyl orange (MO) under ultrasound irradiation in the presence of HO.

Objectives: To determine the efficacy of Phosphorus-32 radiation synovectomy in the treatment of patients with severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) unresponsive to systematic or local medical therapy.
Methods: Twenty-three knees in 16 patients with severe chronic RA were prospectively treated by intra-articular installation of Phosphorus-32 and evaluated at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. The Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis index (WOMAC), visual analog scale (VAS), Health Assessment Questionnaire (HAQ), pain scale, and grade of joint effusion and tenderness were assessed.

Background: The Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation (APACHE) II is still commonly used as an index of illness severity in patients admitted to intensive care unit (ICU) and has been validated for many research and clinical audit purposes.
Aims And Objectives: To investigate the diagnostic value of the APACHE II score for predicting mortality rate of critically ill patients.
Design: This was a single-centre, retrospective study of 200 Iranian patients admitted in the medical-surgical adult ICU from June 2012 to May 2013.

This paper presents a review of the importance and role of precision medicine and molecular imaging technologies in cancer diagnosis with therapeutics and diagnostics purposes. Precision medicine is progressively becoming a hot topic in all disciplines related to biomedical investigation and has the capacity to become the paradigm for clinical practice. The future of medicine lies in early diagnosis and individually appropriate treatments, a concept that has been named precision medicine, i.

Shewanella algae was isolated from the purulent discharge in the navel area of a young male with a history of swimming in the Persian Gulf. A routine laboratory diagnosis procedure, followed by 16S rRNA gene sequence analyses, was used to avoid misidentification with other species of Shewanella. The bacterium was suscetible to ceftazidime, ciprofloxacin, nalidixic acid, nitrophorantion, amikacin, ceftriaxone, cefotaxime, gentamicin and co-trimoxazole but was resistant to amoxicillin, vancomycin, doxycycline, cephalexin, ampicillin, tetracycline, cephalothin and ceftizoxime.

Objective(s): Oxidized low-density lipoproteins (ox-LDLs) appear to play a significant role in atherogenesis. In fact, circulating ox-LDL concentrations have been recognized as a risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD). The main objectives of this study were to assess the effects of antioxidant vitamins on ox-LDL as a biomarker of CVD in male subjects with CVD risk factors.
