Background: In this study, we aimed to determine the most appropriate antimicrobial agents for prophylactic antibiotic use during emergency and elective transurethral procedures.
Methods: The study was conducted in five hospitals located in five different geographical regions of Türkiye. The microorganism cultured in urine before emergency and elective transurethral procedures in these centers between March 2021 and March 2022 were reviewed retrospectively from the hospital records.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) has been linked to both mental and metabolic disturbances. The purpose of this research was to investigate psychological features such as anxiety and depression, body image, sexual dysfunction, and associated factors among the PCOS phenotypes and to compare these with healthy controls. The study involved 167 reproductive-age women with PCOS and 73 healthy controls.

Background: The aim of this study was to examine whether or not there was a difference in corpus callosum shape between patients with mild to moderate and severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) compared with patients who have simple snoring.
Methods: The landmark coordinate data was obtained from the mid-sagittal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) images of 70 patients who underwent polysomnography. For comparisons, mild and moderate OSA groups were combined and analyses were performed on three groups; simple snoring/control group, mild or moderate OSA group, and severe OSA group.
Introduction: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between nasal mucociliary clearance time (NMCT), degree of smoking dependence, cumulative smoking burden and OSAS severity in smokers.
Material And Methods: 123 patients (Group 1) with OSAS and 92 healthy controls (Group 2) were included in the study. Group 1 was divided into smokers (Group 1a) and non-smokers (Group 1b).

Objectives: In this study we aimed to investigate corpus callosum shape differences between restless leg syndrome patients and healthy controls, and to determine whether disease severity and duration are indicators for corpus callosum deformation in RLS patients.
Methods: This study was conducted using the magnetic resonance imaging scans of 33 restless leg syndrome patients and 33 control subjects. Landmarks were marked on the digital images and callosal landmark coordinate data were used to assess shape difference by performing Generalized Procrustes analysis.

Introduction: Premature ejaculation (PE) is a significant problem as it can cause a loss of sexual self-confidence and a significant deterioration in quality of life. The frequency of PE varies between 9% and 27%. In the current study, we aimed to compare the levels of the serotonin metabolite 5HIAA (5 hydroxyindole acetic acid) in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of patients with and without PE according to IELT (intravaginal ejaculation latency time) in order to investigate the relationship of PE with CSF 5HIAA levels.
