Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common primary malignancy of the liver, among which around 18-64% metastasize, most frequently to lungs, regional lymph nodes and adrenal glands. Metastasis of HCC to the central nervous system represents a rare yet clinically significant phenomenon, often presenting diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. In this case report, we document a 35-year-old male who presented with a secondary headache and right ophthalmoplegia attributable to metastatic deposits secondary to HCC infiltrating the cavernous sinus and superior orbital fissure.

Objectives: Drug-drug interactions (DDIs) are a common problem in pharmacotherapy, particularly in situations where multiple disorders must be treated at the same time. We conducted a drug use survey in the general medicine outpatient department of a tertiary care hospital with the objective of assessing the potential for DDI in individual prescriptions for adult patients.
Materials And Methods: Drugs prescribed in the current physician-patient encounter were considered in conjunction with medicines already being received by the patient as well as those discontinued in the past 1 month.

Introduction: Myeloneuropathy is a diagnosis ascribed to disorders that concomitantly affect the spinal cord and peripheral nerves. Recognizing this syndrome may sometimes be arduous, even for the most consummate clinicians, because symptomatology can mimic either spinal cord or peripheral nerve disease. Besides, examination findings suggest a predominantly myelopathic or neuropathic picture.

Though the utilization pattern of the population is shaped by social, economic, cultural and political factors, it varies widely for the rich and the poor. With this background, a community-based epidemiological study was conducted to determine the care-seeking behavior of victims of unintentional injuries.

Osteoarthritis (OA) and diabetes mellitus (DM) have long-term deleterious chronic effects and are among the most prevalent chronic disorders. DM and its associated factors, such as hyperglycemia, have a significant contribution to the pathophysiology of OA, particularly in post-menopausal women. Background: Identification of mental health disorders during childhood is crucial for healthy 'adult roles' in the society, so this study aimed to estimate the magnitude of 'any mental health disorder' and to find out its correlates among children attending the pediatric out-patient department (OPD) of a medical college in West Bengal and to estimate parental stress among their parents.
Materials And Methods: It was a descriptive cross-sectional study done in the pediatric OPD of Burdwan Medical College, West Bengal, during July-December, 2021. The calculated size of 288 children aged between 4 and 12 years and attending with either of their parents was selected through systematic random sampling.
