[The characteristics of application of computer registry in organization of ambulatory polyclinic care of patients with iron-deficiency anemia].

Anemia is a clinical hematological syndrome and also a risk factor for the adverse outcome of many chronic somatic diseases. To assess effectiveness of out-patient polyclinic care for patients with anemia, the computer program "Patient Monitoring System with Anemic Syndrome" was used. The study included 1498 patients (males - 491; females - 1007) aged from 18 to 80 years old, who were under medical observation by general practitioners.

[Effect of 6-hydroxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline on the intensity of free radical processes and the activity of oxidative metabolism enzymes under toxic liver injury in rats].

The effect of 6-hydroxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline on markers of hepatocytes cytolysis (aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase), parameters reflecting the state of oxidative status (intensity of biochemical luminescence and the content of diene conjugates), and the activity of oxidative metabolism enzymes (aconitate hydratase, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, NADP-isocitrate dehydrogenase) was studied in rats with CCl4-induced liver injury. The results obtained in the course of the work demonstrated the ability of the test compound to reduce the severity of oxidative stress and liver cells damage, as well as to change the activity of aconitate hydratase and NADP-generating enzymes in the direction of control values. 6-hydroxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline was more effective in normalizing CCl4-induced changes of the analyzed parameters that Carsil used as a reference compound.

[Investigations into the distribution of neohistamine methylsulfate in the organism of the warm blooded animals following its intragastric administration].

The objective - of the present study was to elucidate the specific features of the distribution of neohistamine methylsulfate (proserin) in the organism of the omnivorous warm blooded animals following its intragastric administration. The analytical methods included TLC, HPLC, and UV-spectrophotometry. Neohistamine methylsulfate was administered intrgastrically to the male Wistar rats at a dose equivalent to the triple LD dose.

Modulation of Structural and Functional Properties of Human Lymphocytes by Reactive Oxygen Species.

The effects of ROS on functional properties (cytotoxic activity, antibody-producing activity, TNFα synthesis, and free cytosol calcium level), membrane structure (by expression of some surface markers), and apoptosis of lymphocytic cells were estimated in the peripheral blood of healthy volunteers. Verification of zinc role in pathophysiology of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

[Possibilities of tissue repair induction during mechanical jaundice of non-tumor genesis].

Aim: The aim of this research was to study the effects of complex therapy with Remaxol inclusion on laparotomy wound tissue reparative process in patients with obstructive jaundice in early postoperative period.

Material And Methods: Clinical and laboratory studies were carried out in 55 patients undergoing surgery of the biliary tract, including 35 patients with mechanical jaundice of non-tumor origin and 17 of them received Remaxol (for 5 days daily intravenous infusions of 400 ml each) in the early postoperative period.

In the Voronezh Oblast, the modernization of system of medical care support of patients with urological pathology was implemented with the purpose of increasing efficiency of the urological service functioning. This action affected all levels: early active detection of urological pathology, standardization of examination and treatment, routing of patients, strict control by way of monthly reports of medical institutions of the Oblast at the level of hospital and out-patient services, supervisory visits of specialists to districts and efficient control on part of the Oblast Chief Out-of-Staff Urologist. In the course of study it is established that key indices characterizing efficiency of functioning of the regional system of urological care of population are admitted the levels of unreasonably prolonged conservative treatment and also reasonably application of low invasive and high-tech intervention, implementation of standardization of the curative diagnostic process, rate of post-operative complications, level of economic costs of diagnostic and treatment, level of medical competence of personnel and degree of early detection of urological pathology that is validated by statistically reliable positive effect at the expense of their adjustment.
