Introduction: We aimed to evaluate the predictive factors in a holistic manner for ureterorenoscopy (URS) outcomes in proximal ureteral stones by a multicenter study.

Materials And Methods: The data of patients who underwent URS for proximal ureteral stones between the years 2015 and 2018 in eight centers were recorded retrospectively. Patients were divided into two groups according to URS success: Group 1 consisted of patients with successful URS, and Group 2 consisted of patients with unsuccessful URS.

The reducing effect of agomelatine on pentylenetetrazol-induced convulsions.

Introduction: Agomelatine is a potent MT1 and MT2 melatonin receptor agonist and a 5-HT2C serotonin receptor antagonist. The purpose of this study was to show the convulsion-reducing effect of agomelatine, in both clinical and electrophysiological terms, in a pentylenetetrazole (PTZ)-induced experimental epilepsy model in rats.

Methods: The anticonvulsant activity of agomelatine (25 and 50 mg/kg) was evaluated in rat models of PTZ (35 and 70 mg/kg) and compared with the control groups.

Doppler flow measurements of RPL patients and healthy controls were performed at mid-luteal phase.

What We Learned from The History of Multiple Sclerosis Measurement: Expanded Disability Status Scale.

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is often seen in young adults and known to cause both physical and cognitive disability, and it is quite important to make an objective assessment of the physical-cognitive disability status of the patients. The first scale that assesses the physical disability in MS cases, the Disability Status Scale (DSS) elaborated in 1983 and transformed into the Expanded DSS (EDSS). It has been in use since 1983 without much change, which is one of its most significant advantages.

Background: It has been shown that functional status of dendritic cells (DCs) in diabetic patients with unstable angina pectoris (UAP) are more mature and activated than diabetic patients without coronary artery disease (CAD) and none diabetic patients with UAP. Accordingly we aimed to assess the activation of DCs in patients with CAD with/and without Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and compare to those in subjects with normal coronary arteries (NCA).

Objective: The objective of this study was to test the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Fibromyalgia Participation Questionnaire (FPQ).

Methods: One hundred and eighty-four female patients with fibromyalgia syndrome were included in the study. All patients filled out the Turkish FPQ (FPQ-T) questionnaire, which was obtained by translation from German according to the guideline for the process of cross-cultural adaptation The patients filled out the revised Fibromyalgia Impact Questionnaire (FIQ) and reevaluated the FPQ-T two hours later.

The association between serum vitamin B deficiency and tension-type headache in Turkish children.

This study aimed to determine the relationship between serum vitamin B level and tension-type headache. The study groups consisted of 75 patients (40 females, 35 males) with headache and a control group of 49 healthy children (25 females, 24 males). Serum vitamin B level < 200 pg/ml was defined as deficient, and < 160 pg/ml as severely deficient.
