Most sports and leisure activities involve repetitive movements in the upper limb, which are typically linked to pain and discomfort in the neck and shoulder area. Movement variability is generally expressed by changes in movement parameters from one movement to another and is a time-dependent feature of repetitive activities. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of repeated movement-induced fatigue on biomechanical coordination and variability in athletes with and without chronic shoulder pain (CSP).

Interfacial solar evaporator generation (ISVG) is a new, cost-effective, and eco-friendly emerging method for water desalination. Two main criteria for evaluating ISVG performance are evaporation rate () and solar-to-vapor conversion efficiency (η). The main challenge of the previously presented models for the estimation of and η in 2D systems is that in most cases the calculated values are beyond the theoretical limits, > 1.

Tannic acid (TA), as a plant polyphenol, has many active sites for chelation with metals, so TA-oligomers (TA-Olig) were used for the first time as ligands on the surface of Ce-Mn-LDH to prepare the layered double hydroxide-based metal-organic framework (Ce-Mn-LDH@CPTMS@TA-Olig@Co-MOF = E) nanocomposite. In this regard, a homogeneous water/ethanol solution was prepared by sol-gel method using polyethylene glycol and ammonia solution, and then TA was converted into a set of oligomers in the presence of formaldehyde. In the next step, Ce-Mn-LDH was prepared in a ratio of 1 : 4 of Ce to Mn, modified with 3-chloropropylmethoxysilane, functionalized by TA-Olig, and then cobalt salt was used to prepare E.

With few viable treatment options, glioblastoma (GBM) is still one of the most aggressive and deadly types of brain cancer. Recent developments in lipidomics have demonstrated the potential of lipid metabolism as a therapeutic target in GBM. The thorough examination of lipids in biological systems, or lipidomics, is essential to comprehending the changed lipid profiles found in GBM, which are linked to the tumor's ability to grow, survive, and resist treatment.

Soil contamination by organic and hazardous substances is a critical environmental issue, particularly in developing countries. This study investigates the limitations of double-layer theory for bentonite-organic contaminant interactions through experimental and numerical analysis. Using NaCl and KCl as salts and acetone, isopropyl alcohol, and glycerol as organic contaminants, the research explores the rheological properties of Na-bentonite dispersions.

To determine the occurrence of microsporidiosis in domestic pigeons in Iran, privately-owned pigeons presenting weight loss and diarrhea were tested through molecular and histopathological methods. Multiplex-PCR findings showed 57%, 30%, and 14% positivity for , , and mixed infection in the fecal samples, respectively. A novel genotype, named IrnEb1, falling into zoonotic group 1 of , and a novel genotype of , named Irn2E, clustering as a sister taxon to genotype 2B were identified in pigeons for the first time using Sanger sequencing and phylogenetic analyses.

The different stages of oil and gas extraction in the seabed are linked to water pollution and threaten fish reserves. This issue becomes more critical in the Middle East countries which are rich in natural resources and at the same time are facing water tensions. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the harmful impact of gas extraction on fisheries' footprint in the Middle East based on data from 1990 to 2021.

Determining 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) in aqueous solution is of great importance for public security, environment, and public health protection. The covalent organic framework (COF) based fluoresce probes are still of interest in developing the sensor-based detection systems for TNT. So, a novel fluorescence solid-state probe based on a melamine-based COF (SNW1)for TNT detection was established for the first time.

In our study, we aimed to use olive pomace, food industry waste, as biomass to produce biochar nanoparticles. The surface of the biochar was functionalized with the l-histidine ligand, and then cupric acetate was added to prepare Cu-l-histidine@biochar as a final catalyst for the chemo- and homoselective synthesis of amide and aniline derivatives. To characterize the novel catalyst, we employed various techniques.

In this study, the conversion of bones (waste of food industry) into bone char is described. The presence of calcium phosphate and graphitic carbon gives bone char unique properties, with different possible uses. The catalytic behavior of bone char modified with chlorosulfonic acid is tested as reusable and eco-friendly solid acid biocatalyst in synthesis of pyrimidine-5-carbonitrile derivatives.

Since males and females have different number of X chromosome, different mechanisms have evolved to equalize dosage of gene products from the X chromosome between XX females and XY males. The aim of this study was to study X chromosome dosage compensation for growth rate (GR), Kleiber ratio (KR), efficiency of growth (EF) and relative growth rate (RGR) in Zandi sheep. A two steps procedure was adopted to analysis data.

Background: Myeloid Derived Suppressor Cells (MDSCs) are capable of inhibiting both innate and adaptive immune responses and accumulate in the microenvironment of breast tumors. Hence, MDSC depletion by chemotherapeutic agents can improve clinical efficacy of cancer immunotherapy. The effects of 5-FU and doxorubicin agents on MDSC reduction in 4T1 breast cancer murine model were evaluated.

Background And Aim: Research has documented chronic non-specific low back pain (CNSLBP) as one of the primary causes of absenteeism at work, often accompanied by the use of health insurance and healthcare services. Considering little research on the consequences of open/closed kinetic chain (O/CKC) exercises in water on CNSLBP improvement, the present study is to investigate the effects of such interventions on the electrical activity of selected lumbar muscles, pain, lumbopelvic control (LPC), ground reaction force (GRF), and psychological factors in men with CNSLBP.
Materials And Methods: This is a randomized controlled trial that involves individuals with CNSLBP between the ages of 40 and 60 years.

The novel Zn-Cu-Al layered double hydroxide (LDH) encapsulated within a chitosan/glutaraldehyde matrix, designated as LDH@Cs/G@Pd, was synthesized through simplified methodologies for the preparation of aromatic aldehyde derivatives. Formic acid served as the carbon monoxide source and hydrogen donor, while chitosan/glutaraldehyde acted as the linking agent between the substrate and palladium nanoparticles, with Echinophora platyloba extract functioning as the reducing agent for palladium. The characterization of LDH@Cs/G@Pd was conducted using a variety of analytical techniques, including Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area analysis, and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES).
