Although mucinous carcinoma (MC) is considered a favorable histologic subtype of invasive breast cancer (BC), a subset of MC is managed with neoadjuvant therapy (NAT). The clinical and pathologic features of MC following NAT are not well characterized. The aim of this study is to characterize pathologic response in patients with MC treated with NAT, including neoadjuvant endocrine therapy (NET), neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NCT), and Herceptin-targeted NCT (H-NCT).

To evaluate discharge readiness perceptions among mother-father dyads, parents of infants in the neonatal intensive care unit completed a parenting readiness survey. Fathers had more favorable perceptions than their partners. Maternal perceptions and social risk, but not infant morbidities, predicted paternal perceptions.

Study Design: This is a retrospective review of maternal and infant data among inborn infants conceived via ART and matched control infants born at 30 to 34 weeks' gestational age (GA) between 2006 and 2012. Data were analyzed using paired -test or Wilcoxo-Mann-Whitney test for continuous and Fisher's exact test for categorical variables.

Methods: Fourth year students and Obstetrics and Gynecology faculty participated in structured, audiotaped focus groups aimed at defining OR educational objectives and curriculum content.

Objectives: : To estimate the effect of a computer trainer on improving knowledge and attitudes of Obstetrics and Gynecology residents regarding female pelvic anatomy (PA) and pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) compared to usual teaching.
Methods: : A randomized trial was conducted between April and June 2008. Obstetrics and Gynecology residents randomized by year of training participated in a 1-hour session with a computer trainer for individual-based learning of female PA and PFD or usual teaching.

A total of 153 patients' charts were reviewed over a 6-year period to assess the results of the practice of amniocentesis for diabetic mothers at term (greater than or equal to 37 weeks' gestation) before elective induction/delivery. The number of cases with absent phosphatidylglycerol were determined at each specific gestational age at or near term. Phosphatidylglycerol was present in 130, and phosphatidylglycerol was absent in 23 at first amniocentesis sampling.
