Primary Orbital Tuberculosis with Cold Abscess: A Case Report.

Unlabelled: Orbital tuberculosis is a rare form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis involving orbital soft tissue, periosteum, bones and lacrimal glands. This is a case report of a 6-year-old male child who presented with swelling of the right upper eyelid. He had normal visual acuity without signs of diplopia or ophthalmoplegia.

Insights into the management of Lewy body dementia: a scoping review.

Lewy body dementia (LBD) is situated at the convergence of neurodegenerative disorders, posing an intricate and diverse clinical dilemma. The accumulation of abnormal protein in the brain, namely, the Lewy body causes disturbances in typical neural functioning, leading to a range of cognitive, motor, and mental symptoms that have a substantial influence on the overall well-being and quality of life of affected individuals. There is no definitive cure for the disease; however, several nonpharmacological and pharmacological modalities have been tried with questionable efficacies.

Introduction: Induction of labour is the artificial initiation of uterine contraction by various means such as medical, surgical or mechanical with the aim of achieving vaginal delivery. Background: The last few decades have witnessed an appalling rise in several emerging and re-emerging viral and zoonotic outbreaks. Amongst those emerging zoonosis, one of the diseases which is gaining popularity these days and has been declared as public health emergency of international concern by the world health organization, is human monkeypox virus (HMPX). Spontaneous idiopathic omental bleeding: a case report of rare cause of acute abdomen.

Idiopathic omental hemorrhage is a rare cause of an acute abdomen, which is potentially life threatening. Here, we report a case of a 34-year-old male who presented to the emergency department with sudden, severe pain abdomen and abdominal distension for 1 day. There was no history of trauma, abdominal surgeries or any significant past medical history.

Severe COVID-19 among Admitted COVID-19 Patients in a Tertiary Care Centre: A Descriptive Cross-sectional Study.

Introduction: Severe COVID-19 patients experience elevated levels of serologic indicators of inflammation which can alter blood cell lineages and cause lymphopenia. The objective of this study was to find out the prevalence of severe COVID-19 among admitted COVID-19 patients in a tertiary care centre.
