The classification and verification of segmented Baijiu hold significant importance as they profoundly influence the blending and overall quality of the Baijiu. Our scholarly investigation yielded a fluorescent sensor with three luminescent modes by integrating Tb and RHB into UiO-66. The interplay between carboxyl-containing compounds and RHB/Tb@TLU-2 orchestrates a harmonious molecular association, where the convergence of carboxyl groups with Tb yields a resonating impact on the antenna effect of BDC-SO.

Using an assemble-able MOF material, we successfully constructed an ultra-sensitive electrochemical sensor based on BiCuO@Al-MOF@UiO-67 nanocomposite material, in order to investigate the adsorption properties of the BiCuO@Al-MOF@UiO-67 functional material on the heavy metal ion. The Cd, Cu, Pb and Hg can be detected at the same time. Selective recognition and enrichment of various metal ions on different substrates can be achieved through the assembly of a large number of Al-MOF and UiO-67-MOF nanomaterial composites with small particle sizes on the BiCuO surface.

Micro- and nanoplastics (MNPs), emerging as pervasive environmental pollutants, present multifaceted threats to diverse ecosystems. This review critically examines the ability of MNPs to traverse biological barriers in fish, leading to their accumulation in gonadal tissues and subsequent reproductive toxicity. A focal concern is the potential transgenerational harm, where offspring not directly exposed to MNPs exhibit toxic effects.

Coal fly ash (CFA), a byproduct of coal combustion, is a hazardous industrial solid waste. Its excessive global production, coupled with improper disposal practices, insufficient utilization and limited awareness of its inherent hazards, poses a significant threat to both ecological environment and human health. Based on the physicochemical properties of CFA and its leachates, we elucidate the forms of CFA and potential pathways for its entry into the human body, as well as the leaching behavior, maximum tolerance and biological half-life of toxic elements present in CFA.

The crosstalk between gibberellin (GA) and abscisic acid (ABA) signaling is crucial for balancing plant growth and adaption to environmental stress. Nevertheless, the molecular mechanism of their mutual antagonism still remains to be fully clarified. In this study, we found that knockout of the rice NAC (NAM, ATAF1/2, CUC2) transcription factor gene OsNAC120 inhibits plant growth but enhances drought tolerance, whereas OsNAC120 overexpression produces the opposite results.

Multifunctional nanomedicines have been used in atherosclerosis theranostics. Herein, phosphatidylserine-specific peptide CLIKKPF-functionalized carbon-dots nanozymes (pep-CDs) are reported for specific and efficient noninvasive theranostic of atherosclerosis. Surprisingly, pep-CDs are discovered to not only inherit the inherent properties of carbon dots (CDs), including deep-red fluorescence emission, photoacoustic response, and superoxide dismutase-like antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory activities but also possess the ability to target recognition on foam cells and target localization on plaques due to the specific interaction of CLIKKPF with phosphatidylserine on the membrane outer surface of foam cells.

Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is one of the most common primary intracranial tumors in the central nervous system with poor prognosis, high invasiveness, risk of recurrence and low survival rate. Thus, it is urgent and vital to develop drug effective delivery systems that efficiently to traverse the blood-brain barrier and targeted transport therapeutic agents into the GBM tumor site for the treatment of brain tumors. Recently, amphiphilic cucurbit[7]uril-polyethylene glycol-hydrophobic Chlorin e6 (CB[7]-PEG-Ce6) polymer was designed, prepared, and self-assembled into micells (CPC) in an aqueous solution, and chemo drug methyl-triazeno-imidazole-carboxamide (MTIC), loaded into the cavity of CB[7] was subsequently coated with hybrid membrane mUMH (HMC3 membrane: macrophage membrane: U87MG membrane = 1:1:2) to afford mUMH@CPC@MTIC.

However, the application of the CRISPR/Cas12a system is still limited by the PAM for double-stranded DNA (dsDNA). Here, we developed asymmetric RPA (Asy-RPA) to completely break the limitations of PAM.

Accurate detection of biomarkers in whole blood is an important aspect of diagnostic testing but remains a challenge due to various interferences. However, using a self-calibrating two-signal strategy offers a solution that can overcome interference caused by experimental and environmental factors. Here, we proposed a novel microswimmer {methylene blue (MB)@ZIF-90@aptamer-HER2/3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB)@ZIF-90@aptamer-ER}-dual-signal (electrochemical and fluorescence) homogeneous sensor based on functionalized ZIF nanomaterials for one-step simultaneous detection of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2) and estrogen receptor (ER) in whole blood.

Herein, a novel electrochemical sensing platform is designed for the simultaneous detection of Cd and Pb, using MXene@rGO composite aerogel-doped UiO-66-NH. The MXene@rGO composite aerogel not only serves as the support structure for UiO-66-NH, but also improves the conductivity of the composite by accelerating the electron transport in the matrix. The amino group of UiO-66-NH offers binding sites for heavy-metal ions, and the existence of PhNH/PhNH in the composite promotes the redox processes of the metal ions to be detected on the electrode surface.
