Purpose: The main objectives were to study differences between the first and the fourth cycle in dosimetry variables in patients treated for neuroendocrine tumours with four cycles of [Lu]Lu-DOTA-TATE, as well as to look for absorbed dose-effect correlations aiming to help individualise and optimise this therapy for future patients.
Material And Methods: SPECT/CT based dosimetry of tumour lesions and kidneys was performed in the first and the fourth cycles of the [Lu]Lu-DOTA-TATE treatments for 17 patients from 2020 to 2023. Clinical variables of interest were collected in order to look for correlations with some dosimetry variables.

Purpose: This study by the EANM radiobiology working group aims to analyze the efficacy and toxicity of targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) using radiopharmaceuticals approved by the EMA and FDA for neuroendocrine tumors and prostate cancer. It seeks to understand the correlation between physical parameters such as absorbed dose and TRT outcomes, alongside other biological factors.
Methods: We reviewed clinical studies on TRT, focusing on the relationship between physical parameters and treatment outcomes, and applying basic radiobiological principles to radiopharmaceutical therapy to identify key factors affecting therapeutic success.

Introduction: A neural network was trained to accurately predict the entire single-event specific energy spectra for use in alpha-particle microdosimetry calculations.
Methods: The network consisted of 4 inputs and 21 outputs and was trained on data calculated using Monte Carlo simulation where input parameters originated both from previously published data as well as randomly generated parameters that fell within a target range. The 4 inputs consisted of the source-target configuration (consisting of both cells in suspension and in tissue-like geometries), alpha particle energy (3.

The retina is a highly heterogeneous tissue, both cell-wise but also regarding its extracellular matrix (ECM). The stiffness of the ECM is pivotal in retinal development and maturation and has also been associated with the onset and/or progression of numerous retinal pathologies, such as glaucoma, proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR), age-related macular degeneration (AMD), epiretinal membrane (ERM) formation or uveitis. Nonetheless, much remains unknown about the biomechanical milieu of the retina, and specifically the role that Müller glia play as principal mechanosensors and major producers of ECM constituents.

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a B-cell neoplasm that rounds 15% of all hematological malignancies. The typical clinical presentation of MM includes hypercalcemia, renal failure, anemia and bone lesion (CRAB). Effusions due to MM may occur due to secondary involvement of other organs and rarely are present at the initial diagnosis.

Prematurity has been related to altered brain structure and cognition, and so our aim was to describe them in the absence of major structural brain injury following low-risk preterm birth during adolescence and young adulthood. The sample consisted of 250 participants, 132 of whom were low-risk preterm (30-36 weeks' gestational age) and 118 were full-term individuals (37-42 weeks' gestational age), aged between 16 and 38 years old. All participants underwent an extensive neuropsychological assessment.

Research Question: What is the influence of biological, technical and clinical factors on embryo outcomes in preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidies (PGT-A) and what is the recurrence pattern?
Design: This retrospective study included 64,071 embryos undergoing PGT-A in the same laboratory between 2011 and 2019. Biopsies were performed at the day 3 embryo stage (48.32%) or blastocyst stage (51.

Emotional intelligence (EI) and neurocognition (NC) impairments are common in first-episode psychosis (FEP), yet their evolution over time remains unclear. This study identified patient profiles in EI and NC performance in FEP. 98 adult FEP patients and 128 healthy controls (HCs) were tested on clinical, functional, EI, and NC variables at baseline and two-year follow-up (FUP).

Objectives: The purposes of this current questionnaire-based study were to analyse whether oncologists prescribed PA to their patients in Spain, as well as the type of exercise recommended, the variables that influence whether or not to recommend it and to compare these recommendations with the values reported by their patients.
Methods: Two online questionnaires were designed for this study. The first one, filled in by the oncologists (n = 93), contained aspects such as the attitude or barriers to promoting PA.

Introduction: Negative symptoms (NS) include asociality, avolition, anhedonia, alogia, and blunted affect and are linked to poor prognosis. It has been suggested that they reflect two different factors: diminished expression (EXP) (blunted affect and alogia) and amotivation/pleasure (MAP) (anhedonia, avolition, asociality). The aim of this article was to examine potential sex differences among first-episode schizophrenia (FES) patients and analyze sex-related predictors of two NS symptoms factors (EXP and MAP) and functional outcome.

Objective: The aim of our study was to assess if the addition of PRGF to healthy human sperm affects its motility and vitality.
Methods: This was a prospective study, with 44 sperm donors on whom sperm analysis was performed. Nine mL of blood was collected and PRGF was obtained using PRGF-Endoret® technology.

Amygdala atypical volume development and functional connectivity (FC) at small gestational ages (GA) have been found across childhood. This adult-oriented study assesses whether altered amygdala structure and function is present following low-risk preterm birth. T1-weighted and resting-state functional MRI images of 33 low-risk preterm (30-36 weeks' GA) and 29 full-term (37-42 weeks' GA) young adults of both sexes, aged between 20 and 32 years old, were analyzed using FreeSurfer (v6.
