With coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic restrictions and lockdown, children and adolescents have experienced emotional and physical isolation from family and community members. This isolation has a negative impact on children's and adolescents' mental health, physical health, and behavior. An online cross-sectional study of children and adolescents aged 5 to 11 years was conducted to assess the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on their behavior, emotions, and sleep routines.

Monkeypox has become a disease of global public health significance. Pregnant women are unfortunately among the those at an increased risk for exposure to monkeypox because their immune system is altered during pregnancy.

Brugada Syndrome is characterized by arrhythmogenic risk that may be exacerbated by different metabolic and pharmacological factors. Since its first description, knowledge of this syndrome and its detection by physicians belonging to different specialties have gradually increased. The risk of arrhythmias is well known to increase in the postoperative period, and this risk is particularly accentuated in patients with Brugada Syndrome.
