A new deep blue emissive organic fluorophore (N-cyclohexyl-N-(cyclohexylcarbamoyl)-4-(diphenylamino)benzamide (NCDPB)) was designed and synthesized, which showed strong fluorescence both in solution and solid-state. Solid-state structural analysis of NCDPB revealed non-planar twisted molecular conformation with extended hydrogen bonding between the amide functionalities. The propeller shaped triphenylamine (TPA) and non-planar cyclohexyl unit prevented close π…π stacking and produced strong deep blue emission in the solid state (λ = 400 nm, quantum yield (Φ) = 12.

Unlabelled: The impending climate change is threatening the rice productivity of the Asian subcontinent as instances of crop failures due to adverse abiotic and biotic stress factors are becoming common occurrences. CRISPR-Cas9 mediated genome editing offers a potential solution for improving rice yield as well as its stress adaptation. This technology allows modification of plant's genetic elements and is not dependent on foreign DNA/gene insertion for incorporating a particular trait.

Most of the known rearrangement reactions of donor-acceptor cyclopropanes (DACs) involve the migration of cationic carbon atom to anionic carbon or heteroatoms in 1,3- or 1,4-positions. In the present work, we observed that spiro DACs based on 1,3-indanedione or 1-indanone moiety undergo intramolecular 1,2-aroyl migration when treated with titanium(IV) chloride to afford 1,4-naphthoquinones and α-naphthols readily. The reactions take place through the formation of putative 1,3-dipolar intermediates, followed by cleavage and migration of the aroyl group to the adjacent carbon to afford the ring-expansion products.

The focus of this paper is laid on synthesizing layered compounds of CuMoO and TiCTx using a simple wet chemical etching method and sonochemical method to enable rapid detection of rutin using an electrochemical sensor. Following structural examinations using XRD, surface morphology analysis using SEM, and chemical composition state analysis using XPS, the obtained CuMoO/TiCTx nanocomposite electrocatalyst was confirmed and characterized. By employing cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry, the electrochemical properties of rutin on a CuMoO/TiCTx modified electrode were examined, including its stability and response to variations in pH, loading, sweep rate, and interference.

With their constructed photo catalysts, the effect of h-BN@SnO/TiO has been investigated under the assessment of Adsorption agents utilizing X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy, Energy dispersive spectroscopic analysis (SEM/EDS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HR-TEM), and Burner Emit Teller (BET) isotherm testing methods, which also indicated that SnO/TiO and h-BN have been tightly bound together. Because turquoise blue (TB) and Methyl orange (MO) fabric dyes can be found in the industrial wastewater being processed, the photo catalytic degradation process happens to be applied.
