G-protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), crucial in various diseases, are targeted of over 40% of approved drugs. However, the reliable acquisition of experimental GPCRs structures is hindered by their lipid-embedded conformations. Traditional protein-ligand interaction models falter in GPCR-drug interactions, caused by limited and low-quality structures.

The intricate origins and diverse symptoms of Alzheimer's disease (AD) pose significant challenges for both diagnosis and treatment. Exosomes and microvesicles, which carry disease-specific cargo from a variety of central nervous system cell types, have emerged as promising reservoirs of biomarkers for AD. Research on the screening of possible biomarkers in Alzheimer's disease using proteomic profiling of EVs is systematically reviewed in this comprehensive review.

Background: Paucity of deceased donor livers has resulted in a 10-fold rise in living donor liver transplantations (LDLTs) performed in India over the past decade. Nonetheless, number of deceased donor liver transplantation (DDLT) performed has improved with the establishment of simplified legal framework for certification of brain death and organ donation. In this study, we present our outcomes of DDLT performed at various centers, comparing their outcomes and provide a snapshot of the increasing number of DDLT across the state over the years.

Objectives: This prospective study was performed with cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) images for evaluating canalis sinuosus (CS), determine its location and diameter in relation to gender, age, and distances from important structures, including floor of nasal cavity, incisive foramen, edge of buccal cortical bone, and palatal cortical bone.
Material And Methods: The scans of 650 patients in total were included in this prospective analysis. Gender, age, the position of the CS, its presence or absence, diameter, and its location in reference to the adjacent teeth were the factors that were noted.

Unlabelled: This study validated an app-based developmental and speech language screening (SRESHT screener) conducted by Grass Roots Workers (GRWs) among children below six years of age in a rural community in the state of Tamil Nadu (the field).
Method: The study was carried out in two phases, first the training of GRWs and then the validation of the screening conducted by them using the app. For the training, suitable materials were developed, and the GRW's knowledge and skills were evaluated pre- and post-training.

The incisive foramen is also called as nasopalatine foramen. It is a funnel-shaped opening in the anterior maxilla which opens immediately behind the central incisor teeth through which nasopalatine blood vessels and nerves pass. The incisive foramen is continuous with the incisive canal or nasopalatine canal (NPC).

Inter-residue interactions in protein structures provide valuable insights into protein folding and stability. Understanding these interactions can be helpful in many crucial applications, including rational design of therapeutic small molecules and biologics, locating functional protein sites, and predicting protein-protein and protein-ligand interactions. The process of developing machine learning models incorporating inter-residue interactions has been improved recently.

This study emphasis the solvent effect on third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) features of methyl red (MR) dye dissolved in polar solvents including ethanol, methanol, acetone, 1-propanol, DMF and DMSO using low power diode laser. Z-scan technique operating at 405 nm wavelength, is used to estimate the third-order NLO features of MR dye in various solvents. The dye discloses self-defocusing nonlinear index of refraction (n), which is determined to be the order of 10 cm/W.

Patients post liver transplant (LT) with progressive familial intrahepatic cholestasis type 1 (PFIC-1) often develop progressive graft steatohepatitis, intractable diarrhea, and growth failure. A total internal biliary diversion (TIBD) during an LT may prevent or reverse these adverse events. Children with PFIC-1 who underwent an LT at our institute were divided into 2 groups, A and B based on the timeline where we started offering a TIBD in association with LT.

Recent research in rodents suggests that oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis in the testes caused by high-fat diets (HFD) are a cause of male infertility. To investigate the therapeutic efficacy of the combination of hydroxycitric acid and capsaicin (HCC) against male reproductive disorders, we developed an HFD-induced obese rat model. Rats received HFD supplementation for 21 weeks, which induced obesity.
