Aim And Objectives: To construct a set of scientific and feasible nursing management protocols for early fluid resuscitation in acute pancreatitis (AP) patients that can be used to guide clinical practice and enhance the treatment efficacy in these patients.
Background: Fluid resuscitation is a key means of early treatment for AP patients and has become a clinical consensus. Nurses are important practitioners of fluid resuscitation, and there is a lack of specific enforceable nursing management programs.

Objectives: To investigate the effect of diffusivity metrics of magnetic resonance diffusion tensor imaging (MR-DTI) in the assessment of treatment effects.
Methods: MR-DTI examination for trigeminal neuralgia (TN) patients and the diffusivity metrics of the trigeminal ganglion (TG) were analyzed. Before and after the percutaneous stereotactic radiofrequency rhizotomy (PSR) operation, the treatment effect was assessed using pain scores and MR-DTI.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical characteristics and risk factors for patients with lung cancer complicated by pulmonary embolism and to provide a reference for the early clinical identification of these patients.
Methods: Eighty patients with lung cancer complicated with pulmonary embolism who were treated at Bethune Hospital of Shanxi from October 2018 to October 2025 were compared with 80 patients with lung cancer without pulmonary embolism. The clinical data of the two groups of patients were collected and analysed.

Acute kidney injury (AKI) resulting from cisplatin (Cs) chemotherapy presents a significant challenge in clinical management. The study aimed to fabricate a novel compound Polyvinylpyrrolidone-catechol-derived chitosan nanoconjugates (PCChi-NC) for targeting Cs-induced AKI. Characterization studies utilizing UV-visible spectrophotometry, FT-IR, XRD, and TEM revealed a spherical morphology with diameters ranging from 20 to 60 nm.

Vaginal intraepithelial neoplasia (VAIN), linked to HPV infection, is a condition that is often overlooked during colposcopy, especially in the vaginal vault area, as clinicians tend to focus more on cervical lesions. This oversight can lead to missed or delayed diagnosis and treatment for patients with VAIN. Timely and accurate classification of VAIN plays a crucial role in the evaluation of vaginal lesions and the formulation of effective diagnostic approaches.

Background: Pulmonary embolism (PE) as a preventable and potentially fatal noncommunicable disease was believed to have a lower incidence in Asian populations compared to Western populations. However, the incidence and mortality rates of PE in China and the impact of venous thromboembolism (VTE) prevention system constructions on PE still lack nationwide evidence.
Methods: For this nationwide hospital-based observational study, we used data from the National Hospital Quality Monitoring System (HQMS) and public database in China.

Background: Cervical cancer is a prevalent malignancy among women, often asymptomatic in early stages, complicating detection.
Objective: This study aims to investigate innovative techniques for early cervical cancer detection using a novel U-RCNNS model.
Methods: Cervical epithelial cell images stained with hematoxylin and eosin (HE) were analyzed using the U-RCNNS model, which integrates U-Net for segmentation and R-CNN for object detection, incorporating dilated convolution techniques.

Background: Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a significant inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that typically arises from chronic inflammation of the intestinal tract. Report suggest that anti-inflammatory drug plays a crucial role in the protection of UC. The recent study demonstrated that columbianadin has a protective effect against UC induced by dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) in rats through the modulation of HO-1/Nrf2 and TLR4-NF-κB signaling pathways.

Background: Increased systemic bone mineral density has been reported in patients with ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL). This study investigated the differences in vertebral Hounsfield unit (HU) values between the bridged and nonbridged groups of patients with OPLL of the cervical spine at the ossification-related segments.
Methods: A total of 436 ossification-related segments from 157 patients were involved in the study.

Background: Anomalous systemic artery to the left lower lobe (ASALLL) is a rare congenital anomaly. The primary symptoms include hemoptysis and lung infection, though some patients may remain asymptomatic. Currently, there is no consensus on the indications for treatment or the optimal choice of therapy for this condition.

Biased µ-opioid receptor (MOR) agonists enhance pain relief by selectively activating G protein-coupled receptor signaling and minimizing β-arrestin-2 activation, resulting in fewer side effects. This multicenter Phase II/III trial evaluated the optimal dosage, efficacy, and safety of SHR8554, a biased MOR agonist, for postoperative pain management following orthopedic surgery. In Phase II, 121 patients were divided into four groups to receive varying patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) doses of SHR8554 or morphine.

Colon cancer is one kind of malignant digestive tract tumor with high morbidity and mortality worldwide, treatments for which still face great challenges. Recently emerged intervention strategies such as phototherapy and gas therapy have displayed promising effects in the treatment of colon cancer, but their application are still hindered due to insufficient tumor targeting and deeper tissue penetrating capacity. Herein, in the present study, we developed one theranostic nanoplatform Cet-CDs-SNO (CCS) to realize multimodal imaging-guided synergistic colon cancer therapy.

Bariatric surgery may have an effect on myocardial mechanics in individuals with obesity and diabetes. In this study, two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography was applied to evaluate the changes of left ventricular myocardial mechanics in individuals with obesity and diabetes before and after bariatric surgery. A total of 58 individuals with obesity were divided into an obesity-only group (30 patients) and an obesity + diabetes group (28 patients).

Bone tissue is a biological composite material with a complex hierarchical structure that could continuously adjust its internal structure to adapt to the alterations in the external load environment. The fluid flow within bone is the main route of osteocyte metabolism, and the pore pressure as well as the fluid shear stress generated by it are important mechanical stimuli perceived by osteocytes. Owing to the irregular multiscale structure of bone tissue, the fluid stimulation that lacunar-canalicular network (LCN) in different regions of the tissue underwent remained unclear.

Flap endonuclease 1 (FEN1) is a specific enzyme capable of recognizing and cleaving triplex DNA structures and releasing 5'-flap fragments. It plays a crucial role in the DNA metabolism of cells, participating in DNA replication and the repair of damaged DNA. Additionally, FEN1 is overexpressed in various tumor tissues, promoting tumor progression and drug resistance through different regulatory mechanisms.
