Background: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a complex lifelong neurodevelopmental disorder with a high and increasing global prevalence. Although the precise causes are unknown, both genetic and environmental factors, including maternal ones during pregnancy, significantly influence its development. Therefore, this study endeavors to explore the potential causes of autism, including maternal and paternal prenatal risk factors, as well as antenatal and natal maternal risk factors, and their associations with the severity of ASD in mothers of children with ASD, from February to May 2024.

Insider threats pose a significant challenge to IT security, particularly with the rise of generative AI technologies, which can create convincing fake user profiles and mimic legitimate behaviors. Traditional intrusion detection systems struggle to differentiate between real and AI-generated activities, creating vulnerabilities in detecting malicious insiders. To address this challenge, this paper introduces a novel Deep Synthesis Insider Intrusion Detection (DS-IID) model.

Flavonoids, a type of natural polyphenolic molecule, have garnered significant research interest due to their ubiquitous nature and diverse biological activities, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer effects, making them appealing to various scientific disciplines. In this regard, the use of a flavonoid nanoparticle delivery system is to overcome low bioavailability, bioactivity, poor aqueous solubility, systemic absorption, and intensive metabolism. Therefore, this review summarizes the classification of nanoparticles (liposomes, polymeric, and solid lipid nanoparticles) and the advantages of using nanoparticle-flavonoid formulations to boost flavonoid bioavailability.

This study presents the synthesis of a green polymer-based nanocomposite by incorporating green CuO nanoparticles into polyaniline (PANI) for the adsorption of Pb (II) ions from contaminated water. The nanocomposite was extensively characterized using FTIR, XRD, BET, SEM-EDX, XPS, and Raman spectroscopy, both before and after Pb(II) adsorption. Optimization studies were performed to assess the effects of key parameters, including pH, adsorbent dosage, and initial ion concentration on the adsorption process.

Chronic wounds in diabetic patients experience significant clinical challenges due to compromised healing processes. Hypoxia-inducible factor-1 alpha (HIF-1α) is a critical regulator in the cellular response to hypoxia, enhancing angiogenesis and tissue restoration. Nevertheless, the cellular response to the developed chronic hypoxia within diabetes is impaired, likely due to the destabilization of HIF-1α via degradation by prolyl hydroxylase domain (PHD) enzymes.

Avian infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) is responsible for a highly contagious disease that poses a significant threat to the poultry industry due to its high rates of evolution. The occurrence of vaccination failure can frequently be attributed to the emergence of novel strains that exhibit antigenic divergence from conventional vaccine strains. This study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the Eg/1212B-based live attenuated virus vaccine indicated for immunization of chickens against nephropathogenic GI-23 variant strains reported globally.

Camel milk has a unique composition that sets it apart from other types of animal milk, which has captured the interest of medical and scientific communities. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) mainly contain exosomes (Exos, 30-200 nm) and microvesicles (MVs, 200-1000 nm). Camel milk EVs, particularly Exos, which we named EVs/Exos, have arisen as a fascinating area of scientific inquiry, holding enormous potential for the future of biomedicine due to their anticancer, antibacterial, antidiabetic nephropathy, and immunostimulatory impacts.

This article examines the estimate of ϑ = P [T < Q], using both Bayesian and non-Bayesian methods, utilizing progressively first-failure censored data. Assume that the stress (T) and strength (Q) are independent random variables that follow the Burr III distribution and the Burr XII distribution, respectively, with a common first-shape parameter. The Bayes estimator and maximum likelihood estimator of ϑ are obtained.
