Background: The scrotum is considered as an uncommon site for tinea, hence there is a lack of knowledge about the clinical characteristics, pathogenic agents and the skin microbiome changes of tinea scrotum.
Objective: We sought to analyze the clinical features, pathogenic agents and skin microbiome of tinea scrotum.
Methods: A two-center prospective observational study was carried out in outpatient dermatology clinics in Zhejiang, China, from September 2017 to September 2019.
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a malignancy with a poor prognosis. This study aimed to distinguish patients with HCC having distinct tumour immune microenvironment (TIME) features and construct an immune-related gene signature (IRGs) to assess prognosis and provide a basis for personalised therapies. Transcriptomic data of patients with HCC were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases.

Background: IgA nephropathy (IgAN) is the most common primary glomerular disease worldwide and it is characterized by mesangial IgA deposits. Proteinuria is a common clinical feature of IgAN, which has a critical connection to podocyte injury and has been used as a clinical prognostic factor for IgAN. Evidence has shown that TNF-α released from mesangial cells may lead to podocyte apoptosis.

Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) is a rare soft tissue sarcoma characterized by the proliferation of spindle cells arranged in a storiform pattern. Here we report a case of DFSP presenting as a bluish-black atrophic plaque. The tumor had the histopathologic characteristics of both the pigmented and atrophic variants of DFSP.
