Endometrial cancer (EC) is one of the three most prevalent gynecological tumors affecting women and is the most prevalent gynecological malignancy in the developed world. Its incidence is rapidly increasing worldwide, mostly affecting postmenopausal women, whereas recently its prevalence has increased in younger people. EC is an immune gene disease and many studies have shown that the tumor-immunosuppressive microenvironment plays an important role in cancer progression.

Objective: To elucidate the regulatory effects of salvianolic acid B (SalB) on trophoblast cells in preeclampsia (PE).
Methods: 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5 diphenylte-trazolium bromide (MTT) assays were used to detect the viability of human extravillous trophoblast HTR-8/Svneo cells induced by HO following treatment with different concentrations of SalB. The levels of oxidative stress-related molecules, including superoxide dismutase, glutathione-Px and malondialdehyde were detected using corresponding kits.
Objectives: The aim of this study was to investigate adverse pregnancy outcomes (APOs) and mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of intrahepatic cholestasis in pregnancy (ICP) in hepatitis B virus infection (HBV) patients.
Material And Methods: We performed a retrospective study at Beijing Youan Hospital in China from January 2010 through May 2017. A total of 232 patients were enrolled, including 106 HBV-infected ICP patients (Group H + C), 20 ICP patients (Group C) and 106 HBV-infected patients (Group H).
Objectives: This article aimed to explore the relationship between hepatitis B virus infection (HBV) and intrahepatic cholestasis in pregnancy (ICP).
Material And Methods: We conducted a retrospective study at the Beijing Youan Hospital in China between January 1, 2010 and November 31, 2016. In total, 217 pregnancies were identified and retrospectively studied.

Background: Preliminary evidence of safety and efficacy of an extracorporeal cellular therapy (ELAD) has been demonstrated in subjects with acute forms of liver failure. This study compared ELAD with standard of care in Chinese subjects with acute-on-chronic liver failure (ACLF), predominantly secondary to chronic viral hepatitis.
Subjects And Methods: Subjects meeting eligibility criteria were randomized to either the ELAD group or the control group.

To investigate the protective effect of intraperitoneal transplantation of human liver-derived stem cells at different times against concanavalin A (ConA)-induced acute liver injury in mice. A total of 88 male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into normal control group (group C), ConA model group (group M), and human liver-derived stem cells (HYX1)+ConA group (group E); according to the interval between phosphate buffer/HYX1 injection and ConA injection, Groups M and E were further divided into 3-hour groups (M1 and E1 groups), 6-hour groups (M2 and E2 groups), 12-hour groups (M3 and E3 groups), 24-hour groups (M4 and E4 groups), and 48-hour groups (M5 and E5 groups). The levels of alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), and total bilirubin (TBil) in peripheral blood were measured, liver tissue sections were used to observe pathological changes, and the Ishak score for liver inflammation was determined.

Objective: To investigate HBsAg clearance rate in previously untreated patients with HBeAg-positive chronic hepatitis B (CHB) treated with nucleos(t)ides and interferons and its influencing factors based on the clinical diagnosis and treatment dat.
Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted in 1 767 previously untreated HBeAg-positive CHB patients who visited Beijing You'an Hospital from February 14, 2008 to December 31, 2012. HBsAg clearance rates were calculated for patients with different characteristics, and the Cox regression model was used to investigate the influencing factors for HBsAg clearance.

Background: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a significant clinical and financial burden for chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients. In Beijing, China, partial reimbursement on antiviral agents was first implemented for the treatment of CHB patients in July 1, 2011.
Aims: In this study, we describe the medical cost and utilization rates of antiviral therapy for CHB patients to explore the impact of the new partial reimbursement policy on the medical care cost, the composition, and antivirals utilization.
