Background: This study aimed to investigate the association between Metabolic-dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD)and C-reactive protein/lymphocyte ratio (CLR).
Methods: MASLD was defined as a Controlled Attenuation Parameter (CAP ≥ 274dB/m) and CLR = C-reactive protein/lymphocyte. A multifactor linear regression model was used to test the relationship between MASLD and CLR.

Background: CINV is a frequent adverse response to cancer treatment. There is still much to learn about the pathophysiology and initiating event of CINV, which necessitates continued research despite decades of effort. Identifying the current foci of the complex disease and assessing the scientific impact of pertinent study are made more difficult by the abundance of publications on CINV.

Hypertension stands out as a substantial independent risk factor in the progression of chronic kidney disease; however, the exact pathological mechanisms remain elusive. Our preliminary studies find that Wnt/β-catenin control renin-angiotensin system (RAS) expression, thus playing an important role in the pathogenesis of hypertension and renal fibrosis. As an integral component of the RAS, the (pro)renin receptor (PRR) plays a crucial role in the activation of the RAS and hypertension.

Purpose: The reconstruction of Allen's type IV fingertip amputation is a clinical challenge. Our team designed bilateral unequal-sized hallux osteo-onychocutaneous free flaps for the long-term reconstruction of Allen's type IV fingertip amputation and conducted a retrospective study with a 5-year follow-up aims to evaluate the effects of this technique.
Methods: A retrospective analysis with a 5-year follow-up including 13 patients with Allen's type IV fingertip amputation who were admitted to our hospital from January 2010 to January 2017 was conducted.

Objective: Clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (TCM and WM) are important medical documents used to assist medical decision-making and are of great significance for standardizing clinical pathways. However, due to the constraints of text format, it is difficult for Integrated TCM and WM CPGs to play a real role in medical practice. In addition, how to standardize the structure and semantic relationships between Integrated TCM and WM CPG knowledge, and realize the construction of computable, sharable and reliable CPGs, remains an urgent issue to be addressed.

Infections with the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and disorders of the heart and blood vessels are causally related. To ascertain the causal relationship between COVID-19 and cardiovascular disease (CVD), we carried out a Mendelian randomization (MR) study through a method known as inverse variance weighting (IVW). When analyzing multiple SNPs, MR can meta-aggregate the effects of multiple loci by using IVW meta-pooling method.

Background: The lipid-lowering effects of Omega-3 fatty acids have been widely reported, yet their impact on ischemic stroke remains controversial. Reports on the protective effects of unsaturated fatty acids, such as Omega-6 and Omega-7, as well as saturated fatty acids in cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension and ischemic stroke, are less frequent.
Objectives: This study aims to identify fatty acids associated with blood pressure and ischemic stroke through Mendelian randomization.

Background: As a common chronic recurrent inflammatory skin disease, psoriasis is characterized by erythema and scaly skin lesions, with infection as an integral part of the pathogenesis of many diseases. Many previous cases reported the impact of psoriasis on infection. However, the existing research fails to completely clarify the infection factors associated with the potential of these diseases and causality.

Chronic heart failure (CHF) is a common complication and cause of death in dialysis patients. Although several clinical guidelines and expert consensus on heart failure (HF) in the general population have been issued in China and abroad, due to abnormal renal function or even no residual renal function (RRF) in dialysis patients, the high number of chronic complications, as well as the specificity, variability, and limitations of hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) treatments, there are significant differences between dialysis patients and the general population in terms of the treatment and management of HF. The current studies are not relevant to all dialysis-combined HF populations, and there is an urgent need for high-quality studies on managing HF in dialysis patients to guide and standardize treatment.

Background: Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and the consequent right heart dysfunction persist with high morbidity and mortality, and the mechanisms and pharmacologic interventions for chronic right-sided heart failure (RHF) have not been adequately investigated. Research has shown that prolonged inflammation is critical in precipitating the progression of PAH-associated right heart pathology. Some research demonstrated that Lingguizhugan decoction (LGZGD), as a classical Chinese medicine formula, had beneficial effects in alleviating PAH and RHF, while its underlying mechanisms involved are not fully elucidated.

Background: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a leading cause of global mortality, with atherosclerosis (AS) contributing to its pathological basis. Inflammation plays a critical role in the pathophysiological process of AS, and the NOD-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome has been extensively studied in this context. This study aimed to analyze the research status of the NLRP3 inflammasome in cardiovascular disease and provide research directions for further exploration in this field.

This study aimed to explore the mechanism of Xiaoyu Xiezhuo decoction (XXD) on ischemia-reperfusion-induced acute kidney injury (IRI-AKI) using network pharmacology methods and gut microbiota analysis. A total of 1778 AKI-related targets were obtained, including 140 targets possibly regulated by AKI in XXD, indicating that the core targets were mainly enriched in inflammatory-related pathways, such as the IL-17 signaling pathway and TNF signaling pathway. The unilateral IRI-AKI animal model was established and randomly divided into four groups: the sham group, the AKI group, the sham + XXD group, and the AKI + XXD group.
