The aim of this paper was to screen the active targets of Schizonepetae Herba and Saposhnikoviae Radix in the treatment of ulcerative colitis by means of network pharmacology, and to investigate their mechanism of action. The effective components of Schizonepetae Herba and Saposhnikoviae Radix were screened out by traditional Chinese medicine systematic pharmacological( TCMSP)database, with oral bioavilability( OB) ≥30% and drug-like( DL) ≥18% selected as the thresholds. Target PPI network was built between the main components and their corresponding targets.

Mice models of viral pneumonia were induced by pulmonary adaptive strain FM1 of influenza A virus in Asian mice.RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry were used to dynamically observe the effect of Scutellariae Radix on the protein and gene expression of inflammatory cytokine in the lungs of the model mice infected by influenza virus FM1 at different phases. The partial mechanism of Scutellariae Radix in repairing the immune inflammatory damage of target organs of pneumonia caused by influenza virus was further explored.

The aim of this paper was to obtain low toxicity and high efficiency anti-tumor Chinese medicine through screening the combination ratios of Momordicae Semen and Epimedii Folium, and to explore the anti-tumor mechanism of the combination of two drugs by observing their effect on apoptosis-related proteins in cancer cells. Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium(MTT) assay was used to observe the effect of drug combination on the proliferation of tumor cells from different tissue sources. The effects of the combination of the two drugs on tumor cells were analyzed by Compusyn software.

In recent years, the number of patent applications for traditional Chinese medicine( TCM) inventions has increased rapidly, but the authorization rate has declined. Listed TCM enterprises are a group of active innovators in this field,so this paper analyzes their patent quality by combining patent application and authorization with R&D investment of enterprises in order to explore a practical way to improve the quality of TCM patents. The conclusions are as follows: the R&D investment of listed TCM enterprises is insufficient and the gap between enterprises is large; the number of patent applications is within a reasonable range, but some enterprises still have abnormal patent applications, and patent quality needs to be improved; in addition, the patent operation capacity of enterprises still needs to be improved.

A retrospective study was performed in drug-induced liver injury(DILI) cases associated with Dictamni Cortex(Baixianpi,BXP) Preparations, which were treated at grade Ⅲ class A liver disease hospitals from 2008 to 2016 and spontaneously reported for adverse reactions between 2012 and 2016 at HILI Cloud(hilicloud.net). The results showed 25 DLII cases associated with BXP Preparations treated at grade Ⅲ class A liver disease hospitals during the 9 years, including only 14 cases in line with the clinical diagnostic criteria of Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Herb-Induced Liver Injury.
