Linearly-polarized organic electroluminescent devices have gained significant attention due to their potential applications across various fields. However, traditional thin-film organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) face significant challenges, primarily due to the necessity of incorporating complex optical elements. In this study, we present linearly-polarized OLEDs (LP-OLEDs) based on organic single crystals that we have designed and prepared.

Beijing Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Reaction Engineering and Technology, Department of Chemical Engineering, Tsinghua University Beijing 100084 P. R. China

Isomerization of 1-methylnaphthalene (1-MN) to 2-methylnaphthalene (2-MN) is a crucial step in the production of 2,6-dimethylnaphthalene (2,6-DMN), which is an important raw material for polyethylene naphthalate (PEN). Herein, the isomerization of 1-MN was systemically investigated over beta zeolite. Firstly, reaction conditions were systemically optimized, by which enhanced catalytic performance was obtained.

As the global pursuit of renewable energy intensifies and the demand for offshore wind turbines rises, a comprehensive understanding of the coupling response characteristics of offshore monopiles, seabed, and waves in various sea conditions has become increasingly crucial. This paper reports on a wave flume experiment and seeks to contribute valuable insights by examining the coupling response of offshore monopiles, seabed, and waves exerting a relentless influence. The experimental results indicate that the impact of waves on monopiles is significant: there is greater pressure on the wave facing surface of the offshore piles than the other faces, and the pressure increases with increased wave height as well as the height of the monopile.

Earthquake-induced rock landslides in the eastern mountains of the Tibetan Plateau, especially landslides with weak interlayers pose a significant threat to major construction projects. Prestressed anchor cable is one of the main reinforcement methods of rock slopes. This paper combines shaking table model tests and numerical simulation to study the reinforcement effect and dynamic response characteristics of prestressed anchor cables applied to rock slopes with weak interlayers under strong earthquakes.

Recently, the application of cryogenic hoses in the field of cryogenic media has become a hot topic, especially in the industry of offshore liquefied natural gas and aerospace field. However, the structure of cryogenic hoses is complex, and reasonable structural properties are required due to the harsh working conditions. There is still plenty of scope for further development to improve the performance in all aspects.

Zeolite catalyzed alkylation of benzene with long-chain α-olefins is a promising method for the detergent industry. Considering the long-chain α-olefins from Fischer-Tropsch synthesis always contain some oxygenated organic compounds, the effect of which on the alkylation of benzene with 1-dodecene was comprehensively investigated over beta zeolite herein. -heptanol, -heptaldehyde and -heptanoic acid were selected as the model oxygenated organic compounds, and it was revealed that an obvious decrease of lifetime occurred when only trace amount of oxygenated organic compounds were added into the feedstocks.
